How does /x/ feel about Atlantis?

Personally, I think it COULD have existed, but it's likely buried under so much sediment and sea floor melt that we'll probably never find it

I believe that the 'real' Atlantis does not exist, but there have been many destroyed and flooded cities, one or more of which could have been an origin for the Atlantis myth, assuming that such a myth was really told to Solon by an Egyptian scholar.

Thera (Santorini) existed. Its eruption would have wiped out other islands and the cities on the northern coast of Crete. If the Black Sea flood happened, it would have flooded out cities in the northern lowlands. The sea rise at the Younger Dryas boundary would have flooded out every coastal village worldwide.

That's the gap from North Africa to Iberia, right? Any cities that fit that description?

You have 2 places that can be that, one was a sunken island with the form of rings in mediterranean sea, the other Bolivia, also check mesoamerican cities, Tenochtitlan was made like that, for me is more like Troy, they are real and you have a fuckton of them, btw, orichalcum was discovered and is real and you have to notice that Atlantis wasnt exactly a city, but a maritime imperium. Media dont give a fuck about this because it doesnt have anything that can put blacks on pair and all facts will show blacks as people that need to be sterilized, just check how viking coins are being melted is Sweden, thats the mistery, like giants (that are real and can be found in chinese museums) anything that can prove that whites are smart enough to have a empire in ancient times is being deleted, just check isis behavior, they arent like christians that just recycle temples, they destroy and the ones depicted in Gobekli Tepe are whites, like torcharians, if you study the sites you will notice that things like Atlantis are minor things in a sea of destroyed civilizations.

Atlantis is one of my favourite /x/ subjects. I'm 100% sure it existed. There's a great book about it in the /x/ library, Atlantis, the Antediluvian World by Ignatius Donnelly. Also Graham Hancock, although he's a bit of a cunt, has written some good books about lost ancient civilisations, and there are lots of videos by him on Youtube if you're too lazy to read.

>>41803

Egyptians did have a myth about their ancestors coming from a land to the West of Africa, and references to Atlantis can be found in other cultures as well. In Plato's retelling of the story, the Egyptian priest said that there had been many floods and every time people had had to start again like children who don't know their past; and the Egyptians were the only ones who had been spared this fate. Santorini existed but was not Atlantis.

>>41832

I'm not sure I believe this story, but there was a Swedish guy, Olof Rudbeck, in the 17th century who thought Atlantis was located in Northern Sweden. He's the subject of a book by David King, titled Finding Atlantis. I'm surprised that he never gets mentioned during these discussions, especially by /pol/.

I'm not a nazi but the idea that some people might have erased our true past because of political interests pisses me off.

I know of Ignatius, but I’ve never read his book. Might have to now, thanks for the tip.

I admit I have a bit more of a skeptical mind, but all myths are based in legend. I think the key to finding Atlantis, assuming it did exist and there’s still evidence of it, if determining what Plato meant by ‘Pillars of Hercules’”,’ which most onterpretations believe to be the straights of Gibraltar… that certainly would put it in Northern Europe, or really anywhere in the Atlantic.

I’ve also heard that some think it’s buried underneath Antarctica… while an interesting theory, The city would have had been built there while it was still temperate, and that was way too far in the past for any humans to have been around, much less present on the continent.

Actually egyptians had a really long dead, when Alexander came they were just the shadow of their former self… racemixing and proto-veganism? DNA tests says that their rulers were related to brits.

If every lost white civilization is the Atlantis then the world with a few exception was Atlantis, whites have the custom of crafting civilizations in a decades and destroying them in years untill all west Europe became christian (more or less) and all jews and muslims were expelled, then the "great filter" was surpassed by the first time in recorded history and the man traveled to the moon… fun fact, evil nazies already started the space program, had color tvs, modern roads, stealth fast planes and pcs, then everything was destroyed (i am talking about hard facts) and the alien meme was created to hide the truth, the 60's tech development wasnt accelerated thanks to AYYs, it was stopped by jews untill they were capable of steal it, just check the reason why Kennedy was killed.

Chilean here, the only "town" in antarctica was burned down and our politicians just gave all the country and the people of every spic country is protesting because cultural marxism is destroying everything (with the exception of Chile and Uruguay), media is censoring it, but shit is hitting the fan (just check feminista killed in Brazil or how altiplanic spics are lynching degenerates).

Culture being destroyed is a real thing that you can notice every day and our younglings are filled with feminist, antichristian and self hating crap, right now we have an aids outbreak, food prices are rising, but media and people only cares about fags adopting kids and abortions for literated people.

It was definitely in the Atlantic. It connected Europe and Africa to the Americas, and after it was destroyed, the Atlantic Ocean became impossible to navigate for a long time - the water was too muddy. Donnelly talks about the similarities between the cultures on both sides of the Atlantic that had been influenced by the Atlanteans.

There's probably some interesting stuff hidden underneath all the ice in Antarctica too. Humans are old, hundreds of thousands of years old according to mainstream science, and much much older according to 'alternative' archaeology (read Forbidden Archaeology by Michael Cremo if you want to dive into that rabbit hole - it's in the /x/ library).

The idea that civilisation is only 5 or 6 thousand years old is kinda silly, if you ask me. The first civilisations we know of, the Sumerians and the Egyptians themselves, wrote about a previous time when humans were ruled by god-kings - with each king ruling for tens of thousands of years. And yet our historians dismiss this knowledge even as they base their chronologies on those same ancient sources.

Basically the science you believe is relative to the country you live, not even with religion that happens and you can notice how states are being replaced by mega corporations, Usa, China and Russia (the real powers today) believe in control of sexuality to control poverty and stds while corporations paid for free sex for all so they can have more workers and buyers and stds will force people to buy them things, shit is so fucked up that people that dont breed is being replaced by people that breed a lot in all the planet and apparently corporations have more power than countries today, a nonsense if you check military, basically the 3 powers can kill all bankers at the same time in one day or less, so the problem is other, elites are all the same and they are changing the system, but democrazy and fundamentalists dont let that happen, just check how the 99% protests fighting wall street were stopped by trans people and feminists doing coup d'etat and then changing the goal from fighting poverty and thieves to support poverty and thieves with PC garbage that is obviously a lie, basically a guy that support genocide is telling the guys that support killing the elites doing genocides that they are killers, a stupidity in every sense.

The problem with Turkey is that is in the middle of everything, it has power and his people is fundamelist enough to stop western suicide, but not that much and they showed (turkish police) tools used in blood libels (no more details, /pol/ sound like a controlled site compared with that) they are against everything that can control them, yet they are cockroaches that hide in Europe, but you can notice a change, after the weirdest coup d'etat ever (the "president" was deposed and captured and put in power with no logic reason in hours) the guy in power started being really mean to ruskies, following that if Gobekli Tepe cant be showed as Wakanda then it will be destroyed like isis did with the sites described in The Bible.

I watched this video that was made recently recently and its pretty damn solid and backed up with a shitload of geological, historical, and physical evidence.

It apparently existed 12,000 years ago during the time around the last ice age and was supposedly wiped out by global shifts in climate, which contributed to multiple cultures and religions telling the story of the great flood. As it was 12k years ago, unfortunately barely any evidence remains of its existence anymore.

As you guys can see this is an illustration of how Plato described Atlantis to look like.

The second image is with the Richat structure with the mountains to the north of it.

The third image is when you can use floodmap to raise the sea level by 405 meters, which it would be higher during the previous ice age, and the stucture changes shape to reveal what was in Platos description.

If you take a real close look at the pictures then you'll see that they fit together like a glove dont they?

I got access to some past lives, this is just a light summary of my atlantean one. At the time, our egos led to a lot of war and conquest. We created horrible genetic hybrids, had crystal tech that was used for healing and mass destruction. The crystal tech not only fucked the whole island up, but it changed the world's climate. After that refugees that left like us went all over the world. Being the most technologically dominate, a lot of us chose to completely dominate our new 'home'. There's talk of advanced people finding destruction at their homeland and traveling far and wide in mythologies across the world. We're usually look at as evil.

In bible canon these were the sons of Cain/Qayin , breeding Nephilim, and other curious things.

If you're not into some occult knowledge, then a lot of this will sound alien and confusing.

Implying he is serious and even if he isnt lying in the internet (why people would do that?) there is a high chance of that you get everything wrong and i am not talking about "lies in the stral plane".

Now with facts, check wheat genetics, domestic wheat came from a few kms from Nevali Cori, so egyptians came (maybe) from that place, at least the food roman ate.

Multiple anons in the Retired FBI thread >>>/pol/12841429 relate Atlantis to the Calalus story.

> Anonymous 02/26/19 (Tue) 03:30:12 17bff4 No.12851649

> It seems a long time ago a library existed in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona that dates back to the time of Atlantis. A group of folks from South Africa have hidden that stuff for years. A long story. The CIA and others have located a few other sites in the southwest. Those relics including a number of copper and gold plates that are there being worked on. They were always pretty excited about this and have been after those folks from South Africa for years. Imagine a helluva a story.

> Not sure what you are referencing but the general outline of the story goes back to the existence of a Roman Colony named Calalus that existed in the Phoenix area a long time ago. These folks came here based on information that was glemmed from the unpublished portions of Plato`s Critias, that describes an ancient mining operation in the Superstitions dating backing to the time of Atlantis. Apparently the library was just a run of the mill library used by the miners and others. What they found in that library is staggering to say the least, and the survivors of Calalus have protected in ever since. Like to know what they have.

> From what the spook shared with me at area 51 the history that they are reconstructing shows clearly that the Ancients were ahead of us possessing technology that they really haven`t figured out. Seems that is why they are after the South Africans who have everything. Somehow Tesla is the door going both ways. It seems evolution is not what it is made out to be. Guess the question is can folks get back to where they were and yet not destroy the planet.

> Anonymous 03/02/19 (Sat) 16:42:46 17bff4 No.12867930

> The folks in South Africa have the keys the kingdom. A complete history of mankind leading to the destruction of Atlantis. From what I saw at area 51, the files are enormous. Hope they decide to make them public. If the intelligence community ever gets them the files they will never make it out and they will be used for purely military applications. Always wanted to know how all of that ended. And the history of the survivors and their sealing up the library and any clues as to what happened to them would be a great read. Imagine rediscovery that place with the help of Plato`s Critias, just wow. Interestingly enough one of the reasons I have been told the library was removed from the Superstition Mountains to South Africa was the unearthing of a storage facility on the Giza Plateau which helped folks zero in on the site in the Superstitions. Who really knows.

The Calalus story dates back to the 1920s when some artifacts were found and denounced as modern forgeries.

https://dnaconsultants.com/tucson-artifacts-story-of-pre-columbian-roman-colony-verified-by-archeology/

These anons have added stuff about Plato, the colonists sealing up an ancient Atlantean library, someone finding the library and moving its contents to the war zone of South Africa for safekeeping (brilliant!), and a modern group called RMS studying the artifacts. Does anyone know more about this?

Ha. It's been 'solved' several times and each solution puts it in a different place. Thus the need for strong evidence and arguments.

I haven't read through the whole thread yet, but so far there's a lot of misinformation (Oera Linda book, Miguel Serrano, theosophy, the eye of the Sahara), while the only serious reply (about Ignatius Donnelly's masterpiece) seems to have been ignored.

I saw an interesting documentary recently that implied atlantis was actually the landmass under Antarctica back when the world was warmer. Would be funny because being under ice is technically still being underwater

Completely fits and actually n°46960 might enjoy this too because it uses evidence from what is going under the ice sheet of Antartica!

>while the only serious reply (about Ignatius Donnelly's masterpiece) seems to have been ignored.

Absolutely not. In fact, if you finish reading the thread and pay attention, the Richat Structure and the surrounding environment is a perfect match to Ignatius Donnelly's research, from the location of Atlantis to the asteroid impact that created a massive flood (observed in North America too).

The only thing that's insane about the Eye is that it's in the middle of a desert, above sea level. How? Shouldn't it be undersea?

Only if one ignores the active geology and what makes the Eye so unique. That is properly explained in the videos posted in the last quarter of the thread.

See, it all clicks in. Trust your feelings.

Atlantis has been found. For real.

This just the beginning.

I feel like I'm being fed bullshit by someone selling videos and/or an upcoming book.

> Shouldn't it be undersea? Only if one ignores the active geology and what makes the Eye so unique.

Please cite some papers about the active geology that show an uplift in the area of over 3.5cm per year. The Eye is not only above land but 400 meters above land. You're telling us to believe in some very rapid changes. Give us the survey data showing the uplift, not some guy's youtube video where he swears it's happening.
