Becoming a Werewolf

How would one become a werewolf? Obviously the "spells" touted everywhere are bunk, but is it possible to become one with affirmations and biokinesis? Should one visualise themselves as a werewolf, affirming that they have thick body hair, pointed ears, excellent sense of hearing and smell, sharp teeth, claws, a tail, tall, well built with an 8-pack, etc?

Werewolves only come from legends that involve magic, while biokinesis is just a meme. So spells aside, you may want to look towards technology instead.

Explaining to you the exact mechanisms would derail the thread, and there is a string attached. You will inhabit both worlds, the world of animals and the world of humans, and will belong to neither. This will be very hard. That's a consequence, not a string, the string is actually the thing that makes you into a werewolf. For all intents and purposes you would be mundane, although you might become stronger, smarter, and faster. There are many that would be like you, but what I would place into you would make you into a more pure breed of werewolf. The effects would be more powerful, which I do not know to what extent. Do think carefully about this. Your children will inherit this.

Would my mind be corrupted? You say I would become smarter, but would my mind change at all for the worse in the human world? Would I be able to function in the human world?

Would there be physical changes?

In most traditional European stories I've read, people were able to turn into werewolves simply by putting on a belt or a piece of fur. They didn't use any spells or visualise anything, they just put the belt on and immediately transformed. According to people who claim they saw someone shapeshift (not necessarily into a werewolf), the transformation is very quick and smooth.

There was a person even here on /x/ who said he and his parents saw a shaman turn into a woman in front of their eyes, which left his parents traumatised for months afterwards. So it seems that shapeshifting, assuming it's possible, doesn't work like in the movies.

My theory is that the person has to become possessed by some kind of spirit. That's the only explanation that makes sense to me, because it would explain why normal people, and even children, can turn into werewolves just by wearing a certain item, if the item has been previously cursed by a witch.

Native Americans believe that a witch can become a skinwalker (shapeshifter) after going through an initiation ritual that involves killing a friend or relative. Acts of extreme violence like that can turn a person into a target for evil spirits.

So if you really want to become a werewolf, my suggestion is to learn about shamanism.

 No.40846

>>40844

No, your mind won't be corrupted. Although some more base needs like eating and sex might be amplified. Your mind will be sharper and you will notice things that you never noticed before, but you will not be able to think like a normal person because of this. You may be able to function like a normal person, but from what I've seen this is very hard. Not because you're incapable, but because you wouldn't want to. You'll become stronger and more hairy. Muscle would be easier to put on.

>>40845

>My theory is that the person has to become possessed by some kind of spirit

Very close. The person possesses a new role. Distinct from an actual entity, it's just a role. Just like there's a role for humans, there's a role for wolves. Putting on a wolf skin helps a person enter into that role, but that could be both temporary and permanent. Decedent on the person's abilities.

Yes. You will see people as the things they actually are. Society's veil won't blind you anymore. All changes in mentality will come from this. What you consider to be bad and to be good would change, you won't be able to fool yourself into thinking that one is the other and vice versa.

I've studied the occult and voices in my head tell me things. That's the funny way of saying it and also the only way I will say it. Whether you go through this isn't dependent on me, it's all about you. If you have doubts then just ignore me and go through with your life. You might see what I see. I'm not joking when I said that this will be hard on you. You might kill yourself, it's very hard. But the rewards can be great as well. Ah, when the veil between worlds become loose you might get dreams of becoming a wolf. When you awake you might find weird things on your body and in your room, like blood or bruises. Bruises where you might have gotten hurt.

You would heal faster. I don't know the exact physical changes that will occur, but they will probably be mainly hormonal. Those born as a werewolf tend to look like neanderthals. You won't grow taller. Your jaw might change due to the added musculature, but your teeth will remain the same. Growing taller is something unrelated to this but something I could, but won't, arrange. It's pointless. But so is this, but I'm interested in the effects of the new roles on someone who got it without being born. I will keep track of you until your death, hopefully in old-age rather than you trying to eat a cow.

1. Have you done this spell before?

2. Are you a werewolf?

3. Earlier you said this would not make me grow any taller, but would it stop growing taller altogether if I still had the natural ability to grow taller somewhat still?

4. Will this cause increased aging or will aging progress naturally? I have a youthful look for my age often confused as being 5-8 years younger than I am. This won't cause me to reach my old-man age sooner than normal, will it?

5. Any changes to bone structure?

6. Why would it increase musculature when wolves aren't really all that bulky themselves?

> Earlier you said this would not make me grow any taller, but would it stop growing taller altogether if I still had the natural ability to grow taller somewhat still?

Your genes will dictate how tall you grow, and whether you can grow at all. If you're young you might grow taller, if you're older then maybe your bones will thicken.

>Will this cause increased aging or will aging progress naturally?

You might look hairy and will gain, over time, traits that others consider to be mature. Bushy eyebrows, sharp eyes, that skull brow that I forgot the name of. You will not die any sooner than when you weren't a werewolf.

>Any changes to bone structure?

All will be due to change in hormone system. You aren't born a werewolf, so it will take more than a decade to see.

>Why would it increase musculature when wolves aren't really all that bulky themselves?

Change in hormones. When you become a wolf you will be the weight that you're currently at. Wolves are typically 100-150 lbs, if you're 200 lbs you'll be a very big wolf. One of the biggest in existence.

Yeahhhhhhhh, that's not how physical changes work. Any basic understanding of adult biology will tell you that. You have to have those genes present at birth for the changes to take effect. Just magically getting them isn't going to change his appearance since he's already grown (even if he's 14 he's not going to look like a body builder unless he had bodybuilding genes at birth since the muscles are adapted to what were present at birth). This method is quite rare, I have only seen it in the Norse sagas, and a Goosebumps books, but I suspect it was much more common back in the day, before Hollywood films popularised the now-common method.

Also, werebears are superior!

I think it may have been Stephen King that started the whole "werewolves spread by biting people" style, which could be based on rabies rather than being a throw back to vampires, who also originally did not spread by biting one another. Even zombies followed the other two in Hollywood.

Who here has read Stephen King novels? Am I wrong, right, or in between? I know some /x/philes here had to have read his books.

This cultural meme started in Armenia. The story goes along the lines of because of your sins an angel curses you to regularly put on a magical wolf-pelt and transform into a wolf for seven years. I think is genuinely close to irl lycanthropy too. God has cursed people in the Bible to larp as and believe they're animals as punishment for sins. With a wolf pelt you might fool others too.

There's no such thing as werewolves, but I recommend looking into the pagan practices of channeling gods or figures. This concept can actually be understood in a completely secular way - you think on a creature or god who embodies qualities you want, and use them as a focus to bring those qualities out in yourself. Hinduism is particularly good at this, and Haitian Voudoun practices it as well.

So, if you're running and want some extra power, think like you're a wolf. If you're in a social situation and want more charisma, convince yourself you're an archangel. Your body language will automatically shift and benefit you.

Like everything, they are based on reality, vampires are people with mental problems that were used by Bram Stoker to name the merchant, then dracula became so popular that it was changed untill it lost its meaning to not name them.

Werewolves are just people with health problems, a woman with hirsutism that is forced to work because no man wanted her will develop muscles and be pretty strong, a werewolf, also check what "pagans" did before christianity tell them to not be so stupid and edgy, maybe that word was just used for a caste of pagan warriors and then retards or ignorants took that for literal things, like centaurs for people that never saw a horse before.

"Cultural Christians" believe that Christianity's claims about the universe are wrong, but that its ethics and impact on society are positive. I'm arguing something completely different - that the belief systems I listed get at truths about our world. They all focus on the interconnectedness of the world and everything in it, as well as being open to experience and being fully present, without bullshit misconceptions holding us back. That's essentially the point of Buddhist and Taoist meditation, the dervishes in Sufism, and prayer/"listening to God" in Quakerism. Completely different thing, so don't project your retarded bullshit onto me when you have no idea what you're talking about, idiot.

Mein sides… why you didnt answer the part about Hegel? did you know that both Che Guevara and Stalin were fun damentalist leftists? Left/right is a control meme that change according to the times, just check how evil gnatzies moved from left to right, a meaning that change according to power needs (including social sciences) cant be used, not even for pedagogic purposes, what you call left was something named by Gramsci after he noticed that people will not fail for the communist lie and its older than him, it was called "degeneracy", "fall" and "stupidity", dude, just check the thread about Atlantis and read greek explanation from Aristophanes works and both equality and egalitarism can be found in The Bible and all ancient laws, but they removed the part about God or the greater good and replaced it with lies, the difference is that they tricked people to believe the world will be a better place once they destroy their enemies and put them in power. In theory "contemporary left" is about equalism and egalitarity, in reality is about taking all rights from the people and put them as equals in slavery and "contemporary right" is just another side of the same coin.

Now for countering your next argument, nordic countries had free market with lots of taxes without blacks, they banned poor migrants so that isnt exactly "left" and just check Switzerland, a paradise, the secret? full ban on nigrants and its the washing machine of every monster in the world that was created by a elite of white people.

Now please go back to the thread, please try to refute the part about hypertricosis and hirsutism, now more info, caucasians compared to asians have a lot more hair and everyone knows here that fur is a countermeasure against cold and dry (more or less) climate.

Its a joke, basically i posted facts about werewolves and i denounced people changing the subject, but i am the one being edited… well, just for the sake of accepting that you did something honest, please notice facts, after Bram Stoker added new elements (every author, every culture do it, this is what humans do) it became pretty offensive, btw, Bram talked about werewolves in Dracula so from that moment werewolves became part of politics, just check the censorship Hellsing Ultimate OVA 4 had in Germany and why. Lot of myths (well, maybe all) are based on facts, but they are changed and pop culture ruined and changed a lot of them, werewolves are mostly warriors and barbarii, some nordic warriors believed that they were something like that and openly used wolves fur as armor and they believed that they had wolf-powers or something like that.

anyway though what about people in warmer climates like indians and mediterraneans, i know they're "caucasoid" plus they're pretty hairy but they live in warmer climates than northern europe

First, sorry mod for doing this, but i am receiving free insults, left-right is a hegelian meme that change according to needs, thats my point, what are you doing is the classic metal gymnastic every left path follower do: "it wasnt tried yet" you are missing the point, left definition is "what people in power want to put in thesis or antithesis this time", egalitarianism is just a lie that all politicians said in different ways, but for some reason the "left" believe is just of them, fun fact, in my country millenials out of college call everyone that isnt supporting them "poor fascists" (poor as poverty), also you can check poor people from Venezuela or Chile, egalitarism a joke and is related to both vampires and werewolves after Bram stoker stealed those concepts, wolves are basically poor fags that are always down in a "right wing" system that is controlled by a vampire that destroyed a rightwinger system and moved it to the left… the irony, of course this was removed in underworld and Hellsing Ultimate lost all sense after fattiy's speech. Now with a deeper analysis, as you now "werewolves" old meaning was used by barbarii warriors (sorry for the term barbarii, it changes every time in every place, so i think this is the most accurate) to name themselves and also used by "cultured people" (vampires) as a pejorative term agisnt that group, no matter the system the vampire is the guy in power, it can be the president, a successful male, etc, of course Bram put a guy and not a woman in that position because that was denounced, i can talk about other details that are pretty obvious, but i will be banned by antisemitism, you can also notice the animal behavior and the cultured ritual in the same thing, killing humans, from blood libel to just a fight they are the same.
