I found this image on the Internet, apparently there are plants on Mars.

Why is no one talking about this?

The url provided in that picture is no longer available.

The gallery has moved here, but I'm not sure how to navigate their file system to find the picture.

Are we even sure that it's a picture of Mars? Has anyone been able to verify it? According to Google it's a relatively old picture, some sites date back to 2009, predating the Mars Curiosity landing. How accurate are the colours? The land around the 'forest' looks incredibly bright, almost pure white. Maybe what looks like dark green isn't actually green at all.

I'm not saying there couldn't be forests on Mars, but this doesn't seem like solid evidence to me.

Don't worry, when you're on anonymous imageboards you don't need to feel shame because the only people that know who you are, are with the government anyway and working for this era's government is embarrassing enough in itself.

This might be unrelated or related depending on how you look at it, but did you know Mars has an atmosphere? They say it's mainly CO2 and plants do breath in carbon dioxide. Might be worth looking into.
