Insane heathen here; i'm looking for better methods to be used for the purpose of meditation. I already know the basic principle of a faraday cage. They keep external energies from being absorbed by the human form while allowing the person to be submerged in their own energies and reaching equillibrium. My question is; can they be built by hand, and if so, what materials / functions would make a high-quality faraday cage? I've heard of using wood and metal with magnetic/ electromagnetic properties that can be used to tune out or disrupt external energies, but the idea that only one material should be used is stupid, as in my opinion, every material should be utilized if it will better contribute to the faraday cage's purpose. What are your thoughts on the subject, /x/?

Stop thr bullshit. Its used to block signals from computers to prevent spying.

No, it isn't. Such a thing would be a side affect. It is meant to immerse the inhabitant in their own self-produced energy field, and to block negative external signals and energies. To use it only to block government signals would be retarded.

>he acts haughty and makes a snarky comment implying knowledge of alternative uses to documented, scientific instruments is intended to be commonplace.

I mean YEAH, this is /x/, but you could at least post some examples before expecting other people to believe you.

Companies in business districts turn their buildings into faraday cages with special materials placed on walls and windows to prevent wifi signals from leaking out into public where hackers msy try to hack their networks.

Its also used to prevent the very weak signals from video cables from being picked up by antennas that hackers use to reconstruct images from your screen. They can even pick up passwords this way.

Any other use is like sitting in a closed room and smelling your own farts.
