Honestly? I think this will lead to the end of the fragile and tiny pagan revolution that has been happening. I'm not the /pol/ sort, but I am so confident this will have a negative effect that I half way believe it is flat out intended to be that way by people in power who have used Abrahamic religions as control mechanisms for so long.
The problem is that the bulk of "occult" writing comes from the spiritism movements of the late 1800s and early 1900s. These movements are pure junk. They are cherry picked ideas divorced from their native world views, slapped together with made up nonsense. These movements were very diverse, and very popular. Even now, if you are looking to engage in any tpe of ancestral religious reconstructionism, it is a full time job sifting through the horseshit that came out of that era to find legit information.
I expect this to be the beginning of a lot of "wicca" level hogwash for edgy teens and lonely adults who don't know better.
