I'm living in an alternate reality, but I'm unsure which timeline I've skipped into from. Originally I was from the Berenstein/Berenstain bears argument universe, but I think I died of alcohol poisoning in that universe and my mind/consciousness transferred over to a new universe (this universe). My reasoning for this is that I remember at some point in the last year I got shitfaced to the point where I couldn't even stand up due to the alcohol and I was extremely dehydrated, but when I woke up the next morning I felt fine and thought nothing of it, but that's where the evidence started to pile up that I was in an alternate reality. I think the prerequisites for transferring your consciousness are as follows…
>1) A strong willpower. Your willpower will weaken significantly every time your consciousness transfers to an alternate reality. For me, this took the form of depression and binge eating despite having been and having the means to get /fit/. I've yoyo'd multiple times and it takes me about the same amount of time for my mental fatigue to lift and for me to get back into the gym (typically there is a pre-stage where I get massively sick/can't access the gym for a week or two before the mental fatigue kicks in). These yoyos coincidentally align with when I notice a "break" or "difference in my current reality almost within a week's span.
>2) A will to survive. You don't necessarily have to want to live, but you have to have a strong will to survive in order to successfully survive the cross to an alternate reality, and that will to survive has to be based on selfish whims rather than the wishes of others. At least in my experience.
>3) An unconscious death. You can't commit suicide or otherwise consciously be aware of the fact that you died. You can suppose the possibility afterwards, but if you consciously die, I don't think it's possible to swap to an alternate reality.
<4. You will typically experience a reoccurring dream when crossing timelines. I believe this is a sort of "anchor" tying you back to your original timeline in order for your mind to maintain its overall sanity on a subconscious level.
I'll try to briefly describe evidence that I'm living in an alternate reality (that I've collected so far). With some exceptions, I'll avoid Mandela situations. Unfortunately I'm a weeb, so most of my evidence I've gathered stems from anime. I'm sorry for those who aren't weebs.
<1. Madoka Magicka never received a movie in my timeline.
<2. There are no guns or references to guns in my timeline's Is The Order A Rabbit?
<3. BerenSTEIN bears
<4. Eastern rebels were winning by all accounts in Ukraine and the western front was on the verge of collapse when all news went silent on the events.
<5. Spoonfeeding was a bannable offense on /a/ in my timeline, and digit checking was never banned so long as it didn't interfere with posts
<6. Bitch-Slut from Tomo Chan dated Jun in High School and they quickly broke up because he took her on exercise tours everywhere. There was no deeper meaning.
<7. Helck was translated into the 100s of chapters
<8. Spice & Wolf had 22 volumes, not 17
<9. The Fate anime and Fate Zero were the only Fate series articles to ever receive an official translation. There were no translated Fate games, spinoff series, etc. except for Prisma Illya.
<10. James Webb Telescope was set to launch this last August, not June of 2019
<11. Assad was assassinated by rebel forces a few years back around the same time as Gaddafi
<12. Loony Toons, not Loony Tunes
<13. "Luke, I am Your Father"
<14. Marburg-sama began her infection two years ago, not now.
<15. Rance games never received a translation other than Sengoku Rance (this is the most recent one I discovered had changed about two weeks ago, having checked about 2 months prior).
Can /x/ help me understand these discrepancies and how to control this power better? I'm worried that now that I'm starting to unravel the secrets to how I jumped timelines, I won't be able to do it any more due to my awareness. If I had to guess, I've experienced at least three, and possibly as many as five reality skips.
