There was a story posted here about some kind of shaman who could switch between male and female at will, but the poster didn't explain how he did it. I've read a few books on magic but shapeshifting is never discussed. I've seen a guy on /fringe/ claim that he could change the colour of his hair and eyes by willing them to change, but he's probably insane like most people on /fringe/. Even if it was possible to do it through magical means, it'd take you years before you got to that level. Honestly though you can probably understand what it's like to be female just by using your imagination or talking to females.

It may be better to just learn how to lucid dream and be a female there, but otherwise, like all magical abilities, you can figure it out for yourself by the time you're experienced enough to do it. Magical Use of Thoughtforms and Initiation Into Hermetics both discuss shapeshifting, so I would start with those and The Kybalion if I were you.
