No, no, no, we ARE the aliens. Earth Alpha (possibly even Beta or more) became unsuitable for human life for some reason or another. My best guess is humanity became too degenerate to keep the species going, but again, just an educated guess. You see references to this event in a few cave paintings. Shit, read the Bible and other religious books. The tone completely changes if you're reading with this in mind. Noah's ark was a freaking space ship. We left our original home planet behind long ago, taking only bare necessities. Archaeologists sometimes find old tech that completely baffles them, but that's so uncommon because we didn't bring much. The ship we came on is probably floating in space somewhere; hell, it could come back one day. But yeah, we came here and basically did a hard reboot of civilization. We had to relearn how to do simple things because we no longer had the machines and guidebooks we used to rely on. Most of our past history was probably recorded on advanced computers that are gone. Maybe some of the governments of the world still have paper documents about the whole thing. I hope so. I hope they have already made a decent sized space ship again, because I think we're going to need to leave this planet again sooner rather than later.

>You see references to this event in a few cave paintings.

What? Where?

>Noah's ark was a freaking space ship.

It's much more likely that the many flood myths in various cultures around the world refer to the end of the last ice age and the following rising of the sea level. I don't even know how you could read Noah's story and think the ark was a spaceship.

“One of the major problems encountered in time travel is not that of becoming your own father or mother. There is no problem in becoming your own father or mother that a broad-minded and well-adjusted family can't cope with. There is no problem with changing the course of history—the course of history does not change because it all fits together like a jigsaw. All the important changes have happened before the things they were supposed to change and it all sorts itself out in the end.

The major problem is simply one of grammar, and the main work to consult in this matter is Dr. Dan Streetmentioner's Time Traveler's Handbook of 1001 Tense Formations. It will tell you, for instance, how to describe something that was about to happen to you in the past before you avoided it by time-jumping forward two days in order to avoid it. The event will be descibed differently according to whether you are talking about it from the standpoint of your own natural time, from a time in the further future, or a time in the further past and is futher complicated by the possibility of conducting conversations while you are actually traveling from one time to another with the intention of becoming your own mother or father.

Most readers get as far as the Future Semiconditionally Modified Subinverted Plagal Past Subjunctive Intentional before giving up; and in fact in later aditions of the book all pages beyond this point have been left blank to save on printing costs.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy skips lightly over this tangle of academic abstraction, pausing only to note that the term "Future Perfect" has been abandoned since it was discovered not to be.”

If you were a real time traveler you ought to know that it is pointless to tell these people anything about the(read your) future.

Unless are you the first traveler you are aware of? Heh! Were you the first in your history to go back in time?

Since you probably don't even know the construction of temporal causality and the cyclical nature of human history, let me try to enlighten you.

"Time" is not a forking road or a tree or lines or anything primitive theorists depicted it as. Imagine a finite yet uncountably many strings all parallel in a 3D space. They are infinitely long and perfectly straight. These stings are the casualties of physical substance. On these strings there are wheels. These wheels are all made of magnitudes of smaller wheels. The large wheels all can only move a single direction on the strings. The wheels only move when all the little wheels favor a particular direction. The wheels, all sizes, can pivot any 360 degree direction in parallel to their points of contact. The orientations and directions of the small wheels are the free will we have.

And to answer your probable question, your free will is real and the result of "your wheel" being put into contact with another large wheel and allowing you to consciously experience a new causal chain of events in which you make the choice you make.

Time travel is basically being able to move to different wheels without making contact.

Nunca me faltes nunca me engañes

Qué sin tu amor yo no soy nadie

Nunca me faltes nunca me engañes

Qué sin tu amor yo no soy nadie
