I wonder if you guys know anything about this kind of stuff.
For as long as I can remember, the number 137 has followed me. Maybe not my entire life, but most of it.
I see it at least once a day, usually more.
I look at the clock for the first time in hours, it's 1:37 or 11:37.
I look through my music playlist, one or more(!) songs are 1:37 long.
I play a video game, I do 137 damage to an enemy.
I recently learned that in the bible, Ishmael died at age 137.
It's everywhere. I feel like this goes beyond confirmation bias. No way can it be pure coincidence.
What is the significance of this? What is 137?

137 has been my favorite number for a long time. In physics, the inverse of 137 (1/137) is called the Fine Structure Constant. Basically, when you take most key quantum ideas and reduce them, you come up with this dimensionless number (inverse)137. When I was younger I thought the number 7 was a big part of my life too. I am born on the 7th day of March and when I thought about the number, me and my family lived on a street and it's number was 7 and our apartment's number was also 17. I don't remember any other things with 7 like that but I always treat 7 as my lucky number after that coincidence.

OK here is my theory. I think the numbers are just one of perhaps many indicators of certain energies, frequencies or qualities we respond to. We recognize them because they are easily recognizable. First time poster. Came across this thread after reading some ebin skinwalker caps in another thread. I'm so glad I saw this.
Okay, I'll try to keep it short as I don't have a lot of time, but I think you guys might be able to help me.
I've had a rough youth, and my parents divorced when I was ten. My mom remarried very quickly (within a year) and my brother and me lived with her and our step-dad from then on.
Parents decide they want baby, and eventually baby gets born in '03 (me being thirteen), let's call him R.
(stick with me guys)
So, it became clear very soon my half brother R. was sick. Like really fucking sick, he had severe epilepsy and basically couldn't move on his own (this became worse as time passed, he was born a normal kid but deteriorated). For five years we cared for him, and went to basically every hospital of the country (small country) to find out what it was. Turns out it was a mitochondrial defect.
He dies the day Obama was elected at age five-and-a-half.
After his death my life spiraled downwards fast, didn't finish school, walked away from home, and started seeing 333 and 33 a lot.
At first I didn't think much of it, but I certainly noticed it. As time went by, I got the courage to go back home and face my parents (walked away from home, remember?). This was where I made the connection with the numbers, as it came up and my mother told me she had the same thing.
My brother R. was born on March 16th 2003 at 3:33AM, the same day his grandfather was born. He died November 5th 2008 at 3:33PM, that morning Obama got elected (live in Europe, timezones). (Fun fact, a little girl on our street died that year of leukemia on May 11th (not per se fun fact))
So we have 03.16.03-3:33am/11.05.08-3.33pm, this is 2061 days, which can be divided by 3.
It's been almost nine years now, and I still see it daily. Sometimes more then others. There was a time I was really depressed and thought I was losing my mind, so I told a friend of mine about this. She didn't believe me, so I showed her every 333/33 I saw that day (we were colleagues) and convinced her.
