Some guy on the Discovery channel tried something similar: being eaten by a snake while in a protective suit. You would be squeezed to death before you were completely swallowed, assuming that the snake does not attempt to constrict you first. And even if you somehow survived the swallowing process, you would die from lack of oxygen within minutes.

If you are serious about this (which I don't think you are) being eaten by a domestic snake would not be feasible. The owner would be liable for your death. The best course of action would be to raise the snake yourself, then mail a suicide letter a day before you die, or the morning of, explaining what happened and making arrangements for the future care of the snake.

Insofar as the discovery channel fucking blah blah blah, that guy was an asshole. About all we got out of that was some good gullet shots and an asshole who got his arm torqued.

Snakes generally constrict not to kill but to weaken - the reality is that it takes astronomical amounts of energy compared to resting for a snake to constrict, and if you can struggle long enough it will relent. The biggest problem is that the constriction is fairly consistently applied, and as you exhale it crushes your chest cavity, making it hard to inhale again on a "good" day. Once your heartbeat slows, the snake will assume you're weak enough to consume, and do so.

However, being cold or decomposing - among other things - is actually not in a snake's favor. There aren't any clear explanations for this (beyond obvious disease risks and so forth) but it is clear that snakes are not scavengers. Of course, anyone who's owned a snake could tell you that - they often have to warm food up or raise rats just to keep the snake well fed.

There are a dozen other issues aside. I'm well aware. The legal issues are "someone else's problem" as far as I'm concerned, although I'm okay with doing a video showing my enthusiastic participation (both for sale and court evidence) and signing some paperwork.

Ya'll make it hella' complicated compared to how it could be. Someone owns a huge snake and is clever enough that they could meet me out of eyesight on a given day in a given place we'd negotiate, and that's pretty much it. Missing person and no hard evidence if it's done carefully enough.

I am a masochist to a pretty major degree. Being said, I'm aware it's not the smooth trip people usually make it out to be. However, I'd think the worst threat such teeth would provide would be if I moved in a way that jerked me out of the snake's mouth (as one of the evolutionary adaptions they provide is to keep prey from escaping or slipping out) or while the snake was gathering some degree of leverage to move itself forward.

That is correct. On both counts. However, there is no conceivable reason that the largest of snakes - those capable of swallowing an antelope, for instance - couldn't stomach relatively thin individuals. On top of this, there's no reason they couldn't make it if they started at the feet.

That is more or less true, but good luck attaching yourself to a small something an extremely large snake is swallowing.

The only way I see this being remotely possible is if someone was extremely petite, and somehow managed to tie both their feet to a rat the snake was in the process of swallowing. The snake would probably get sketched out though and puke everything back up, or suffocate you in the process.

Most of the "snake swallows human" cases are fake. A big snake can easily kill someone, but swallowing them (let alone alive) is unfortunately going to be almost impossible.

There are species which have - on record - swallowed crocodiles (outside their native habitat and the croc decomposed rupturing the snake's "abdomen")…. Swallowed gazelles… Swallowed pigs…

Assuming one lived long enough, most species don't ever stop growing completely that I've ever seen. Even then, there must be at least one species that lives long enough to be plausible. I think anacondas are often proposed but I'd like to see something less "exotic" take the bid.

There may be some way to enable them to still walk while rendering their teeth more-or-less harmless. That would require the snake in question and some trying. But if nothing else, first person to go down gets to be the one to talk a bit about the experience and how painful it is :D

Ah, here we are. This one is a question. I can only think how to get them started, not how to keep them going. I think one that large a rabbit would work for a lead-in. But even then, how to attach without seeming like part of the same mass? And so forth.

What you provide here is more useful than I think you realize. So the snake isn't merely biting in - it's gaining leverage to pull itself along. A heavier snake will need more leverage (assuming internal muscles are useless to swallow here, which can't be entirely true but gives us a working model), which means it will exert more pressure, albeit at more points (ie; teeth) but probably not cleanly to scale (as head size and body length don't scale well in snakes).

In other words, if a bite from a snake about the length of your forearm can leave a nasty gash to the bone, a snake large enough to eat you may be pretty fucking awful. (Cue the person going rounds saying "no shit" here.)

So, requirements for any solution have two (+/- another) fundamental requirements to fulfill:

1) The solution must enable the snake to get sufficient leverage to pull itself along.

2) The solution must make it much less harmful to the prey (ie; person)

+/- ) The solution must be functionally harmless to the snake.

One option that is terrible to do would be to remove all the snake's teeth. They do lose some in the process of normal feeding, but not all of them. It would be… unpleasant, like kicking a medium sized house pet in the ribs barefooted. If it didn't get infected it would probably physically be okay; it's hard to estimate the psychological trauma but I'm guessing it wouldn't trust you with pliers near it again, at best.

You could build something that's digestible and/or passible "just in case it gets swallowed" that carefully fits over the business end of the snake's teeth and lets it use them to gain leverage but spreads the pressure out further. This makes any given point less harmful. The pro/con estimation takes a lot of requirements on the snake's well being, but it's quite possible that something as simple as a good firm sausage hooked securely on its teeth would be good enough to keep it from being harmed while allowing it to apply leverage. (The reality is it only needs enough to overcome its own body, and part of the assistance could be given by the prey or by gently pushing the prey in to compensate for loss of leverage.) With tuning or the right materials it could probably be brought to "not much more harmful than normal feeding would be", with the benefit of not needlessly agonizing the prey.

Even if that weren't a factor, anacondas (no other snakes could possibly be large enough for this) listen to their prey's heartbeat to see whether it's dead. They don't want your heart to slow, they want it to STOP. Cutting off your air supply won't weaken you at all, not until you actually die, and that's exclusively how anacondas subdue their prey. They don't want something alive tearing up their vulnerable innards while they're dining, so they won't start eating live meat.

On first point, no. Not only is it not "flat on its face impossible", but I'm not here to overly troll. Nor do I care this much. I keep it alive and active, but I'm also in touch with people who are equally interested in many ways. Some of them are pretty big names in the vore community, which surprised me to be right honest. There are plenty of people in vore/snuff/etc who are interested in the premise, at the least. The logistics have been run many times by many different people. The only "real" problem is the shoulders, and those only because the jaw line has to expand over them, unlike most animals where it's a relatively smooth transition. There are some solutions to this; amputation, feet-first, assistance of a snake that won't freak out if assisted, etc. Probably if the upper rib cage was crushed enough it'd work out, too.

The solution to the air problem is to get a reinforced kevlar sleeve with two pipes in it; one for air in, one for air out, and mount it to a mask. E.G. a CPAP or similar system. Snakes have been known to swallow dogs on chain leashes before.

Fully grown humans cannot be swallowed from head down to feet. The only way a snake can swallow a fully grown adult human is from the feet to the head, since (hold your own arms up, all the way) they will fold neatly and drastically reduce the width of the shoulders. This is why artists like swiftbladez who NEVER draw feet first bother me. It's simply unrealistic and silly looking to see a snake expand much beyond it's capacity for expansion. They would literally either give up at the shoulders or their skin would rupture. Yes, snakes consume animals from the head first, but if you want to see a human consumed it would either need to be a non-adult human or feet first, or an unrealistic snake like a fictional creature.
