Trying to find the best way to render these out, it seems to downscale the image quite a bit no matter what I try.

The best method I have so far is to use GifCam to capture the render window in the actual program. Resize the window the fit as much of the image as possible. The latest GifCam (5.5) lets you customize framerates, 60FPS should be enough. Big boi filesizes though.
