i tak i nie, starcraft i warcraft współdzielą silnik, ale opisują totalnie inne światy.
w starcrafcie są 3 rasy, które się całkowicie od siebie różnią. rasa ludzi w kosmosie - terranie, robotyczni kosmici - protosi i kosmiczne insektoidy - zergowie. wszystko na tyle zbalansowane, że żadna rasa nie ma nadmiernej przewagi nad innymi na potrzeby rozgrywek e-sportowych, ale różnią się nawet w taki sposób, że terranie budują budynki, zergowie zamieniają robotnika w budynek (który w sumie jest żywy), a protosi mają tak, że robotnik stawia budynek, który sam się buduje.
ale właśnie rasa terranów jest praktycznie taka sama jak ludzie w Dune 2000.

Okay, korelacja i inspiracja może tam być, nie mam argumentów przeciw.
Poza jednym- zarówno Starcraft jak i Warcraft miały być grami w uniwersum Warhammera, odpowiednio fantasy i 40k, ale młodemu Blizzardowi i GW nie było po drodze i się rozeszli. Terkowie to miało być Imperium, Zergowie to Tyranidzi. Jak się uważnie przyjrzysz stylistyce, zobaczysz ślady- np. marine terków jest bardzo podobny do Space Marina z 40K, podobnie sporo stworów Zergów jak Zergling czy Hydralisk mają jakieś tam stylistyczne pozostałości.
Chociaż wracając do Diuny to raczej nie będzie Diuna 2000, tylko Dune 2, czyli matka wszystkich rtsów xD
