Shores of Hazeron has been made free for a week to anyone who signs up, so I figured I would make a thread.
What is Shores of Hazeron?
Shores of hazeron is an empire building, and colony management/exploration/space ship game. You can create your own models in blender or via the ingame creator and make custom ships and buildings. You can create orbital stations, harvest resources from orbit, create floating gas giant cities or water world platforms or even undersea dome cities. You can fly a motorcycle into the sun or accidentally fly too fast in the atmosphere and ventilate your ship. Launch a sailboat out your hangar airlock and sail the stars until gravity sucks you in. Theres a lot to do.
Haxus, the sole dev promises to also allow custom ground vehicles and fighters eventually. Haxus runs the servers as a labor of love all by himself at a financial loss so hazeron went paid subscription a few years back to help support the game. Now haxus has allowed players to try the game for a week. Meaning the perfect amount of time to play within boards attention span.
How do I join?

download the game and make an account, you get a week of gametime.
Once ingame, run through the tutorial so you have the slightest idea what to do.
Hazeron wiki will also help you. Targoss is the name of your questgiver. Once thats done click on the two human heads icon on the left of your screen(shift+F8) and right click on Ahzek Ahriman to send a message via chat for an invite to our empire of dust. Our original homeworld has been destroyed by the new player destroyer asteroid and i'm only just setting up our exodus on a ringworld construct.
