I'm trying to rebuild my rom list, as my hard drive was wiped, and I'm noticing that it seems like some of the rom collections are missing a lot of the "Unreleased" games that have been leaked over the years. Does anyone know of some other titles that exist aside from pics related? If possible, could the discussion remain in regards to games that were leaked in a "near finished" state (As in, they are playable all the way to the end).

There was this one souls-like game made by some japanese studio. It was never officially cancelled but it might as well be. I think it was first leaked in 2014? Maybe even later. All I remember was a knight fighting some kind of dragon in a dungeon. Anyone knows which one I'm talking about?

GBA also had Anguna and Broken Circle. Think all three were part of some promotional thing Nintendo was holding, but cancelled on all three before release. Not entirely sure how "100%" playable they are though, but the ROMs are out there.
Also, tangentially related, but you might look into unlicensed games as well. Barver Battle Saga was a Genesis RPG made by China, and was apparently decent enough to get a translation patch into English (though that in itself isn't necessarily a sign of quality; see Tales of the Tempest). It got scrubbed though, after Piko Interactive bought the rights to the game for a digital rerelease, but you might still find the original patched ROM around if you look hard enough if it's of interest. Probably other cases of unlicensed games vanishing for similar reasons, be they good or not.

A couple come to mind:

Black Isle's Fallout 3, code named Van Buren. It was cancelled relatively early in development, but all the design docs and even a playable (extremely limited) build are floating around. It was to be the first 3D Fallout game and, like Tactics, let you choose whether to play in turn-based or real time combat.
Some of the story elements would later be repurposed for use in New Vegas, including the Legion and Joshua Graham - "The Hanged Man" in the original Van Buren design docs, now "The Burned Man." He was originally intended to be recruitable follower.
And while not yet leaked, I keep hoping that someone will steal the 90% complete build of DNF 2001 that gearbox/randy bitchford is hording. embed related.
