Why is it whenever I play Serious Sam I get really fucking bored? Like I load a game, shoot like one Kleer. And I'm like "fuck this shit again." It's like going to work: The Game. It's fine until you actually do it.

I agree, tho I think there is fun to be had holding S+Mouse1 against a horde and prioritizing targets but the Numerous times the games fuck with you can get really tedious. SS2 is the most polished IMO, SS purists will shit on me but I think its the best one, best weapons and most variation, disregarding that its fucking 70 hours long.

Serious Sam is one of those games where you shoot waves of enemies and don't care about any rhyme or reason for doing so. You're either into that subgenre of fps or you're not.

You seem to me like the type of guy who doesn't enjoy horde shooters and I can understand that. But for a horde shooter I believe SS to be wonderful, the way it uses terrain and enemy/weapon variety to make every major fight a blast, and how it also sprinkles in traps in between downtime to keep you on your toes and keep the game from feeling disconnected from the major fights.
