Well, Diablo 4 has released a teaser and it's really disappointing even for a teaser. After Warcraft 3 Reforged, you'd think they'd want to up their game to build some interest but they release a freeze pan of one set of "cannibals". They couldn't even get even 3 different enemies to showcase or at least posed 3 playable characters into the scene. I don't even think they're that far into the games development. This is in-house game concept levels of development before they even decide on the engine to use.

Looks like IGN got the memo and had to change the name from Cannibal Teaser Trailer to Cannibal Family Turnaround Video. Still looks like a stuttering one-shot multiple camera pan video that might as well be an upscaled mobile game. Should’ve saved up when they had something actually to show.

Diablo was a dark real-time graphical roguelike where you descended into the bowels of the earth to slay pure evil. Diablo 2 was pure reddit shit, completely losing the cohesion and atmosphere of the first game and becoming a generic clicker-looter focused on shitty multiplayer.
After the generic and awful sequel the third game was just a formality more than a final nail in the coffin with WoW style graphics, always online bullshit and the rest. Whatever the fourth game is, it will just be the natural conclusion of what began with the second game. The only worthwhile game in the series will remain the first one.

Don't be a contrarian, anon. The second game is pretty solid, it's the mechanics of the first one expanded. The story is retarded, but it's something you can forgive when the game is good. Also, what multiplayer? You were lucky if you could run the game well when it came out, now playing online was an extra luxury. The multiplayer exploded way after it was released, but when it was it was nowhere near as popular or important.
Everyone knows how 3 went, so it's retarded to expect something better for 4. Now saying Diablo 2 is Reddit tier is just retarded.

I guess this was IGN’s fault for misnaming the video but even then, Blizzard still made the video. No matter the context, it’s still a boring video. Looks like a ripped demo reel. They couldn’t even pay someone to narrate some lore for these cannibals. Also, it makes me sad that we won’t get a playable Cannibal character because that sounds like an interesting idea. Now I want to play as a Cannibal girl and I know Blizzard won’t make it. That idea doesn’t seem like an accidental playable race in the making like the Pandarens.

Terminator 2 was pure bullshit, the first movie didn't need a sequel and was a complete story, then the sequel came and shat all over it by undoing the loop and redoing the same plot even though it didn't make any sense at all. It also made way for all the retardation to come, because if Arnold wasn't a last ditch effort by Skynet to change the future it can just keep sending more of them back in time forever. The tonal shift from spooky science fiction thriller to cheesy action comedy also was a downgrade.

Here's a newsflash for you reddiplebs, Empire Strikes back is the worst and dullest of the Star Wars films. Fallout 2 was an awful sequel and a shitty game compared to the first one. TES: Arena is the best in the series and although it is a good game everything that went wrong started with Morrowind. Bioshock 2 was better than the first game. Doom 2 was terrible and the additions it had were a mistake.

It is though, can you use spells to blast down goddamn walls in Daggerfall? Don't think so. Arena let you travel the entirety of Tamriel and did many things better than Daggerfall. With that said Daggerfall was a step forward in many regards, improving upon many things. They are about equal all in all, but Arena is slightly better and deeply underrated by retards who have never seriously played it.

Looking at the diablo 4 video further makes the situation really weird. It was originally posted on their diablo quarterly page with comments disabled for that page. Their original video is unlisted for youtube with comments disabled but you can still rate it. There’s a lot of information on that developer page that they could’ve easily made into a developer’s video update but they didn’t do it. IGN fucked up with the original titling of the cannibals video but it calls into question Blizzard’s mentality more.
What’s the point of making a video that disables any way to give feedback and the only people that can see it are Blizzard loyalist? Looks like Blizzard is in full China-mode and are Blitzchunging you into silence and compliance. I doubt there is going to be much traction on this aspect since there isn’t that many views on both the IGN and unlisted video and I see hardly any of the gaming news site talking about his.
