There is this kickstarter River City Ransom sequel called River City Ransom Underground it seems it was hyped by the community back in the day (2016?), it plays like an expanded Eiver City Ransom game, it has more characters, more skills, more enemies, etc. The thing is that when i played i felt that none of the characters were interesting, this game has many unlockable characters yet there are a few that catched my attention, there was this breakdancer girl (actually its just because she is fast, she is a generic brawler), some fat grappler dude, some wrestler with slow attacks that is useless until you unlock high level skills (still not as good as the rest), some brawler blonde girl (has a rage mode so that makes her different) and other girl with skates, most of the other characters are brawlers focussed on punching or useless wrestlers, it puzzles me how they made so many characters with assets and skills yet a few of them are interesting, others are just dull.

It plays fine, but it's got a few really annoying spots in it. During its development, I asked if an optional, repeatable side mission could be added. Just deliver a box from point A to point B without dropping it or smashing it too much, and get paid based on the package quality, and speed of delivery. What did they do with my request? Turned it into a fucking mandatory plot mission where being hit by anything means you fail and have to run back to the starting point to do it over. Also on the path for this fucking mission is an awkward platform jumping section on moving logs in a river, and you know how fun z-axis movement is in RCR.

Get Even is a criminally underrated stealth shootan/walking sim hybrid. Some ecelebs were paid to shill it back when it released so any and all discussion of it on /v/ was immideately shitposted to death.
The writing is pretty good and the sound design is fucking phenomenal in this game, but the appeal was so niche that it was essentially dead in the water on release and 3.5 people played it at most.

Beat Down was a surprisingly good beat-em-up / fighting game hybrid with moncolle and stealth elements.
Too bad it was poorly marketed and never got sequels. Beat Down could have potentially become a series to rival Yakuza. But I guess we can't have nice things with Capcom.

I wouldn't call that forgotten, everyone hated Postal 3, the entire thing was a disaster. Running with Scissors basically dedicated the plot of the Postal 2's Paradise Lost expansion to how bad Postal 3 was.
