Other than start/hub areas, what are some places in Metroidvanias you found memorable?
Off the top of my head, I like the tower in Dawn of Sorrow. The way it changes after the boss fight is really cool.
Also the puzzle in second pic. Largely for the fact that it's surprisingly difficult.

I can't remember any the Castlevania games' names, and I actually at least sorta liked almost all of them. Whichever one was on the DS has the subtitle with D and S, and that's as far as I can get.

The part in Symphony of the Night where you have to use the bat's echo-location, and then you get the spike armor that breaks any spikes that you touch. I dunno, I just thought that was neat.
The clock with the alternate pathways was neat too.
