I fucking love radio chatter in vidya
Half Life and F.E.A.R are the most clear cut examples of it but plenty of other games make use of it.
Post what you got

Ace Combat games tend to have a lot of radio chatter, for both friend and foe- its pretty nice.

>stalker SoC
>begin the incursion into Pripyat
>military choppers fly overhead as they talk over comms in russian, no idea what they're saying but they're probably scared shitless over the massive war that's about to break out in the city
>make it to the CNPP, it's total fucking chaos
>choppers and APCs crashed and burning everywhere, comms get filled with slavs talking over each other
>emission starts, sky turns red, all hell breaks loose
>comms filled with screaming, panicked USS getting shot at by monolith from all angles, choppers getting shot down with RPGs
>and you're just some amnesiac with a gun trying not to fucking die

A shame that gameplay wise it's probaby one of the worst parts of the game, huge in part thanks to Monolith soldiers that focus merely on you and that you need to kill by using only one piece of cover for the most part.
Replaying it with Autuumn Aurora 2 was an even bigger pain since or soke reason they thought it would be gine to add thick bushed that the enemy can see through and one hit snipe you.
It also shows that no running by wearing Exoskeletons was a fucking mistake when they have sections like that and the next ones that balance the fact that you're wearing one of them.
Seva vs Exo should have been Environment vs Combat, it even makes more sense considering at the end you're fighting against radiation poison as much as you're fighting against the Monolith.
Honestly, I still can't understand the decision of completely removing sprint from Exosqueletons, shit's a late tier suit, should be the endgame suit, the game provides a big fucking challenge that warrents the wearing of the suit, even with sprint and instead it becomes fucking useless in the devs fears of it becoming overpowered, which it absolutely is not.

Few games have made my hands sweat like trying to manually move a character from one ship to another, untethered in deep space.

Doesn't the special suit you find in Pripyat allow sprinting?

I don't have any video examples, but I like radio chatter as well. Alan Wake had radios and tvs you could turn on and it was better than any dialogue page you could pick up and listen to.

I'd say COH in particular does since units have a radio filter on their voice if you aren't looking at their area on the map.
I love the dialogue of COH 2 for alot of the tank drivers and such, shame it was inferior gameplay wise.
