I was playing some FATE The Traitor Soul a bit ago and it has a fishing thing where you can get some damn near broken shit to feed your pet. I got a fish that once fed to them made them this permanently, unless I feed them something else on accident. A lot of the other ones are only temporary transformations.

-Psychotic white gang doing historically Indian style attacks on homesteaders because they wanted Indian style attacks, but the Indians in the game are constant victims who can do no wrong.
-Lemoyne Raiders attack on sight despite having no history between the gangs, because confederates bad.

Nearly every facit of this game is current year new political propaganda. The only redeeming qualities of the game are a decent Poker mini game that the copied from the last game, and hunting/fishing which are only ok.

Fate has pretty rewarding fishing, I remember getting a really good unique cheese hat from fishing. Aside from that Terraria and Okami have comfy fishing as a side activity, Underrail also has fishing which allows you to extract some reagents from certain kinds of fish.
Ridiculous Fishing is good as a lightweight fishing game, can't fathom the appeal of a realistic fishing game.
