I remember there being a bunch of 3rd person horror indie games. White night comes to mind. It's solid but there's some weirdness to it. I think the devs said some SJW shit earlier, but I get the feeling that was just lip service. They do not portray a Matriarchal Household in a good light AT ALL in this game.

Cryostasis at least was pretty lackluster. If you ignore how badly it runs on hardware a full decade advanced from what it was designed for, the only thing it has going for it is what scraps of the story the game decides to give you. Everything else is jumpscares and unavoidable flashbacks to completely defenseless men that need to solve a puzzle in the past so you can continue forward.
