Does anyone on VR play this game? Honestly nothing in recent memory is even close to as satisfying as blowing people apart with the anti-material rifle while hip firing.

Shit is fucking fun.

I should get this game. Is it multiplayer only?

You can play against bots and solo the Zombie mode on your own.

The game is also great training for WW3/Civil War 2/whatever the fuck.

I kind of want to get VR but I need to get a whole new PC basically just to even be ready for it.

So what makes this any better than the hundred or so other VR FPS games?

only played it a bit but that already felt more clunky for the sake of being "vr" and MUH MOTION CONTROLS.

even raw data let you automatically grab a gun, and that's a game from 2016.

zombie mode was kinda meh too.

if you got a ps4 psvr is on sale quite often.

The computer parts for VR as of right now are very affordable.

>DDR4 RAM is finally available at a reasonable price (you can get 16GB of 3200Mhz for $80)

>Ryzen 2600+ CPUs are great for VR and available for less than $200

>RX 580 (the GPU listed as the minimum for Half-Life: Alyx, meaning it's most likely going to be on par for most future VR titles) is available for less than $200.

If you were looking to build a new PC for VR. Now's a great time to do it, because you can put one together for less than $600.

I just got VR a week ago. I've played a little of Pavlov so far, and I like it but I'm still getting acclimated to smooth movement so I don't play for long periods at a time.

It has players.

I found that the controls worked well, but they take a little bit of getting used to. For instance, on the Index grabbing some things uses the grip sensor and others require the trigger, so you have to learn which is which. Once you do, it's fine, but you'll fuck basic things up more often than you would when learning a standard flat screen game.

most pancake games have a standard input scheme, which you can usually rebind anyway. having to "relearn" the game, especially when there are already better examples out there, is just annoying - even more so when every second VR game thinks it has figured out the formula to do shit. it gets even worse with devs trying to ape "natural" movement/handling but then fuck it up by have the kinds of inconsistent behavior that you described.
