Like a week ago I dreamed of being in Kojima's Silent Hills game house and the naked character model of Norman Reedus from Death Stranding was there standing in front of the foggy mirror
which concealed most of his nakedness. A sudden curiosity came across my mind, "was Kojima crazy enough to give Norman Reedus' model a cock and balls?"
I then activated dream spectator mode and floated through the mirror fog and sure enough Norman Reedus had a very low poly cock and balls, but a cock and balls nonetheless!

I wish i could even remember what my dream was, most of the time i would have vivid dreams of something that i could definitely feel but can only recall a vague image about it when i've woken up.
So far the only dream i could even remember that's about vidya is me playing in a TF2 Mario Kart server but all the 'karts' can be driven like a Halo or Battlefield game. I had this one dream where Norman Reedus and the Funky Fetus were climbing up a crumbling building in order to escape some sort of demon, they get to the roof but then the city starts to fold on them, sothen find a rail and grind on it like in Sonic 06 while finding out the city was in middle of an apocalypse and basically crisis city from Sonic 06 but it turns out that the city itself was actually on top of a one eyed demon that kinda looks like the satan eyeball from Smash Ultimate, which was basically the death stranding. Last night I had a dream, it wasn't really about games but at the end of it, I was outside looking at the stars and they all had yellow squiggles hanging off of them and I could see faint outlines of constellations and the milkyway, some of the stars were really big and blue. Soon the sun started to rise and it had a rainbow coloured glare on it. Some of it reminded me of the street light level in Hohokum. (Picture related)
The last dream I had that was actually about a game was when I became the postal dude and had to kill thousands of zombies in an open field to find/save my minecraft friends, the zombies looked like a cross between Beetlejuice, that old green scary girl jumpscare from the maze game, and the weird-ass cat with those big bulging eyes. I had a orange pistol that could kill anything in one shot but it's magazine could only hold one bullet and reloading took a long time so for most of the time I was just running through the crowds.
I also used to have nightmares about my nintendogs either starving to death and I couldn't save them, or they would kill me in the game.
I wonder what dreaming of games is like for other people, for me I only simply only see what is on screen, and hear some of it as if I was just playing it, no other output. No pain, smell, taste, etc. Sometimes I have hud, other times I don't. dreams about 2d games feel weird sometimes and 3d dreams can be either vr-like or like what I said above. I think if my brain was ever plugged into a computer, it would feel the same as this.

A KoF MOBA had just come out and I was really excited about it for some reason. You'd have your team of five prettyboys and tittyninjas, you advance across the map, and when your dudes encountered enemy dudes, you'd have a regular KoF fight, possibly with an uneven number of opponents depending on how close people are grouped on the map screen.
When I woke up I looked into whether such a thing actually existed but only found "KOF Online". Literally just a KoF-themed reskin of LoL or whatever and not the weird fighting game/Ogre Battle hybrid I dreamt of.
The biggest disappointment is that neither in the dream nor in real life was the game called "King of ASSFAGGOTS".

I had a dream that essentially had a video game solution. I was on some kinda moon that was being terraformed in an underground base and we kept getting attacked by Resident evil or DOOM like monsters. After a bunch of freaky attacks I was trying to follow them and goad them into a fight when I realized that they thrived in the climate, so I was gonna fuck up the moons climate instead with huge storms and temperature fuckery like how I would in Spore. It had just started to take effect when all the robotic defense droids (who were goddam absent before in all thise attacks mind you) started malfunctioning because of weather. I woke up before the end.

I don't dream about vidya often but it happens. Whenever I play a game for 10+ hours a day for days it can. Last few games I dreamt about were Kingdom Come Deliverance, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Monster Hunter GU. Ever know a person who tells you their dreams, and they're always perfectly mundane things involving actual people they know and situations that more or less could happen in reality? Aside from assuming that this person is not just only telling you the mundane dreams, this assumes that you're the kind of person whose dreams range from that to batshit crazy things that you remember snatches of decades after the fact. I'm the latter type of dreamer, except lately I've been having dreams where I'm DOING something completely normal (sitting at my computer playing a game) and having completely normal reactions to it (what, you don't hear your own thoughts when you dream?) only the game itself is the crazy batshit incomprehensible thing. I don't mean I'm just dreaming that I'm playing some game or some game that doesn't exist or some game that couldn't exist: we're talking having a dream just like one of my usual, only it's wrapped in a framing device of being a video game to the point where I'm dreaming of playing a video game of myself in one of my normal dreams while at the same actually being in the dream that my dream self is currently playing as a video game.
I don't even know what to call it when excessive video gaming has warped my brain to the point where it now abstracts its standard dreams into this dual video game/normal dream format because it apparently makes more sense that way. I probably need a new hobby, except that I haven't actually done what I would call serious video gaming in something like four years now. I mostly just read about them here.

I don't remember the details, but I'm pretty sure that one or two days ago, I was the hunter in MHFU and stopped a Tigrex charging straight at me with a triple charge, at least I think it was a Tigrex. Last night I dreamt that my old roommate and I were playing the newest Smash game. It was called Smash Ultimate 2 because it had a slightly expanded roster and all the stages were 3D, even though all moves still only moved on a 2D plane. My old roommate said he hated the new game because Weavile didn't need to be added and that a Digimon rep would be better. I told him I didn't care and he got angry with me, so he picked a new stage in the game. It was Squidward's Dream from that one level in BfBB and he kept trying to kill me as Ganondorf. Then a hazard went off that made Squidward's head cry and it washed Ganondorf off of the stage, and in a fit my roommate punched my head and left the room. The game was okay, nothing special.

I was recovering in hospital from an appendix removal and was off my head on a mixture of painkillers and antibiotics. I had this vivid dream of a bright and colourful platformer, kind of reminded me of FLUDDless challenges missions in Mario Sunshine but more PS1 looking the player character was a weird fish man thing and he was making his way across this wooden block looking level then game to a section where coloured blocks push out of a pine looking wall to create something to jump across to get to the top of the wall. The first red block pushed out and then I shit myself (literally) awake.
Nurse had to help me to the showers and change my sheets.

This happens to me all the time. I'm one of those people who have a really hard time shutting my brain off and going to sleep, and if I was just playing a game I'll generally sit and think about what I was doing in the game, what I might have done differently, different strategies etc. This is why you should never play vidya within a couple hours of bedtime.
The oldest memory I have of this was when I was I think six, and I had just gotten a Game Boy (the original) for Christmas with Tetris. I played that all fucking day, and when I went to sleep I dreamt that I was sitting outside a huge, glass chamber where tetronimos were falling down into it, and could dictate what dropped where simply by thinking it. It was tight as fuck.

I've had a fair share. Last one I remember vividly was only partially vidya related. I was in some racing game or something going through a future Italy. At some point, the race was stopped, everyone got out and got chased by what was either the mob or yakuza, can't quite remember. Might have been a good game if it were actually made, imagine a cyberpunk Italy racing game that also works as a twinstick shooter.

I had another dream about being postal dude again after I tried to make a school shooting video, this time I was in the mall but it was really round and clean. I found out that the room I was in will reset if I reenter the loading zone so I kept mugging everybody and walking in and out of the room so they would respawn. After a while of doing this people got mad at me so I hid behind behind the pillars to avoid the police and I befriended three of the "merchants" (little cartoon midgets) afterwards. There might have been lots of leprechauns but I don't remember that very well.

One of the earliest dreams I remember, from when I was around 7, and it was about Mario 64. Mario was swimming in the ocean, until that fish Big Bertha appeared and swallowed him, killing him instantly. He respawned on the beach shore, except his legs were now missing, like he had been bitten clean in half. I just watched him lay there on his back, completely unable to move, flailing his arms around helplessly like an insect. Then the game suddenly blared this ear-splittingly loud buzzer sound and faded out. I "woke up" in the dream, and walked over to a mirror. I had this ridiculous spiked-out hairstyle, and seemingly because of this, another loud buzzer sounded and I woke up for real.

Actually had one last night, though it wasn't about anything in particular. It was your pretty average single player FPS. I was shooting chinks with this weird gun that had a quarter turn system on the barrel. Each turn would yield a different weapon and it went: automatic rifle, sniper, shotgun, and a cutting torch. I like how dreams keep a logic to them in some regards. I had to pump the shotgun to chamber the next round and also had to pump the torch in order for it to work. Aside from eradicating the yellow plague, I had to dodge spider drones and cut through doors. It was pretty fun.

I actually had a lot of them. Typically the most frequent type is me making choices i thought about while playing which i can't do in the game.
Of course all of those dreams are awesome and the worst part is when you actually wake up from it. Because even the best game is barely acceptable compared to those dreams. Someday our dreams will be the game. I hope.

Never, and that is a great mystery to myself. I often dream about what I last listened to or watched on TV or the internet. I played decades of video games and never one same for porn sadly. Moreover, I have a very good dream recall. For example, last night I fell asleep listening to the Gospel of Luke audio, and I dreamed of a group of men in tunics giving up indifferently to Roman soldiers looking for one of them who is eventually stabbed in the back through the chest methodically and very brutally. I woke up because the Roman soldier looked at me menacing as if I was next. Not my best sleep. I suppose the reason is that when playing games, a part of your brain is focused and the other parts are hibernating, because it is basically skill training, and the parts that help deal with emotional events are not needed.
