I really don't know if I'd call Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy "the shit". The multiplayer? Sure. But the campaign sucks and is mediocore at best. The level design is terrible, fighting against the AI is extremely boring since all they do is read your inputs while only using half of the available moveset, blasters in Jedi Academy are completely useless and I don't understand why they exist and the story is nothing to write home about either. I'd honestly say that The Force Unleashed is a more fun single player experience.

At least use Imagemagick to automate the cover scaling part!
$ mogrify -path ./scaled -format png -resize 200x *.jpg *.png
(Few pixels of height variance won't matter most of the time but you can use -crop or non-aspect scaling to prevent that)
From there Montage can also do the griddification. It's more tweakable than this but does require it to be a fixed grid so something like >>16806631 can't be done.
$ montage -gravity north -geometry 240x400 -border +4+4 *.png test.jpg
Just in general it really really helps to have some degree of scripting knowledge. It doesn't have to be pretty but it saves a lot of the busywork and you will have enough of that with just the content.
