Why would they if they don't need to? Having the game be 100 gb instead of 150 gb isn't going to really effect their bottom line. At most large game sizes only effect people that exclusively use SSDs or people with data caps for their home internet. Neither are a big enough problem to change their development process. Even then the easiest way to fix that on their end is to do multi disk release like they did for retail GTA 5.

A very detail revealing pair with really good sound separation might allow you to hear it more easily but you usually don't use that style of headphones if you want to enjoy videogames (or anything really.)
