Comiket is back again this December and with it comes some new games. Comiket is a bi-yearly event in Japan where people come together (usually at the Tokyo Big Site) to sell doujin (self published) material. This can range from games, music, doujin manga, figurines/garage kits, and more. It's also known for being a cosplay haven and where the lewd books comes from.
This event is 4 days this time around (usually it's 3) and is from Dec 28 2019 - Dec 31 2019. You can most likely purchase these games from sites online. From where exactly varies so it's easier to just look up the name of the game and the creator's page to see where you can find it. Here's a list of every game in the video.

You're early. There's not even a regular Comiket thread out. Nothing that particularly sticks out as a game worth checking myself this time around, nothing novel, nothing talent-wise, nothing smooth and mechanical, just more low-effort porn shit. It's a tad tiresome. I'm not even going to bother to make my usual daily shitpost about sleeping and waking up. Did Comiket get worse or did it simply lose its novelty?

We have non-vidya comiket threads? I've never noticed. Maybe on /a/ or /animu/ but I haven't seen them here. As for C97, games wise, I don't really care for anything this time around.
>just more low-effort porn shit
How dare you. Some artists put a lot of effort into making good porn. But if you're tired of that then why not just buy/read Non-H material?

If the anon complaining that "It's all just low effort porn" doesn't know moon. Then I don't see the point complaining about porn if that's all you can or want to consume. There's still plenty of music and other merch to grab from Comiket.

Yeah, the music is low-effort rearrangements of the same 20 tracks, doesn't get any less low-effort than that they shit out 2-3 times a year to coincide with the next big event, the issue of filler tracks aside, they're generic. You literally posted an xfd that consists of remixes of remixes. Excuse me for pointing out how low-effort that is. At least it's not generic 'bossa nova'.
>>16785806
>they put in effort
Not enough effort where it matters. They're just sell-outs my man. They don't produce for their own desire. It's so obvious.

Steam and commercial indie games getting popular kind of killed the novelty, not that most japanese doujin games were ever all that good anyways. Seeing Japanese interested in shit like Terraria, Minecraft and Undertale kind of made me lose interest in them.

The Japanese liked those games because they were inventive in comparison to their roster of games. They have linear stuff whereas we have sandbox style games.

This is missing a few things:
-the niggers put a copyright strike on Shibayan's own upload of his song on Youtube.
-one of the niggers sells the rights to the song for $5000 to the music label United Masters and they put their version on Spotify/iTunes/other music streaming services
-ZUN and Shibayan get no cent out of all this
-they contact Shibayan with google translate on Twitter and he can't understand what a "typebeat" is and basically thinks of them as fellow doujin music creators so he gave his OK to use the song however they like.
Youtube related is the nigger version.

Why listen to 'original' doujin music sold at comiket when you can listen to any of the 50 million songs already on sale? I'm not saying it can't be done I'm just saying it's not worth it and after all these years of consciously living through these events I can safely say I've yet to be proven wrong. I don't see a point in listening to something I can't understand anyway, not like I'll ever get the true intention that way.

Why leave the comfort of anime girl music that's all originally composed by a single guy known for drinking beer as a hobby and shitting out the same rehashed game after game, only occasionally mixing it up, but never in the music department? It goes swell together with my seasonal isekai that end exactly after 12 episodes and never-ending girls-doing-otaku-hobby-poorly-as-if-the-author-isn't-even-interested-in-said-hobby anime based on their ever-so-creative 4koma with their typical japanese humor where the joke is to explain the joke. I for one love recognizing the same chord-progressions over and over. It makes me feel like I understand something about music, being in the know and all!

That's like saying "Why listen to these few bands when you listen to these other thousands?" You can do both. For example, the people behind the Ar Tonelico Hymmnos tracks release some music every once in a while under the name "Vagrancy". You're not going to find that style of music from other people unless they're a group dedicated to mimicking their style.

4koma is only good in anime form where things can actually flow more smoothly. I can't ever get into 4koma manga.

I can never get into 4koma because it feels like the author doesn't try in either the art, or the comedy apartment of his story. It's like trying to get into garfield, it's just toilet paper. Literally any anime adaptation of one is a direct improvement.

I've been looking on Bandcamp for folk music and I have yet to find much that's as good as Ar Tonelico music. Saying that, not all Hymmnos are even folk music.
>It's in jap too like I said
I don't see why it's a problem not understanding them when many folk songs aren't in english in general. In the case of Ar Tonelico, it's not even in Japanese. It's a made up language used in the game.
