If you're a big fan of PS1 JRPGs and monster-catching games, then yes. If you only kinda like those games then you might not like it. The world is very small with just one boring hub town that opens up to different jungle regions, and the dungeon maps in the second half of the game are just a clone of the first half but slightly edited. The big selling point it has is the ability to combine any monsters you have to create endless unique monsters. Personally I liked it a lot, but I'm also a fan of any 90s JRPG - even bad ones.
