Formerly known as Project Scarlett. Coming Holiday 2020.

What do we know about Xbox Series X so far?

>4K resolution at 60FPS, with a possibility of hitting up to 120FPS

>Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and 8K capability will also be supported

>powered by a custom-designed AMD processor which leverages the "latest Zen 2 and next-generation RDNA architecture."

>hardware-accelerated ray tracing

>GPU boasts Xbox's patented Varial Rate Shading (VRS) technology

>includes SSD for faster game loading times

According to Xbox Wire, this design of Xbox Series X allows the console to deliver four times the processing power of Xbox One X in the most quiet and efficient way. Xbox Series X can be placed vertically or horizontally.

The Xbox Series X controller is mostly similar to the Xbox One controller, with the exception of a brand new D-pad and a new share button placed in the middle of the controller underneath the guide, menu and view buttons. The D-pad for the Xbox Series X controller closely resembles the D-pad on the Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller. This Xbox Series X controller is compatible with Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

Xbox Series X aims to be backwards compatible with all Original Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are currently backwards compatible on Xbox One and Xbox Series X should also be backwards compatible with all Xbox One games.

It's rumored that there will be two models of Xbox Series X. One more expensive model with a disc drive which has been revealed, and a cheaper model without a disc drive and is digital only. This cheaper model has yet to be revealed but could be in the cards considering Microsoft found success with the Xbox One S All Digital Edition (Xbone SAD).

What do you make of Xbox Series X? Is Microsoft making the right moves with services like Xbox Game Pass and Xbox All Access? Or you couldn't care less about consoles?

Phil Spencer said that the name would reveal their goals and intentions with this piece of shit. What the fuck could "Series X" even mean, aside for "we're having several models of this and it basically becomes babby's first PC"?

>What do you make of Xbox Series X?

Ugly, boring, and underpowered - just like their games.

>Is Microsoft making the right moves with services like Xbox Game Pass and Xbox All Access?

So long as Microsoft keeps GamePass as a "Digital Rental" service, it's fine. Make sure the games are removed from rotation after a few months to help encourage game sales - preferably physical. Throwing Xcloud into the mix for free (at the moment anyhow) is… alright, I guess. Streaming is inherently broken, so it's nice that they're not making you pay extra for it. The whole thing is a way to shift Xbox Live subscription away from Pay-to-Play Multiplayer to another service that they can charge PC and other platform users for. Granted, it's a bit hilarious at the moment that everybody (even PS4 with the new Minecraft update) gets to play on Xbox Live for free - but Xbox owners are the only ones who have to pay for it. Beyond that, I'd like to see them contract out (or create in-house) a smaller game reproduction company - then drop the price of digital games by $10 unless you opt for a physical copy to be printed and mailed to you. That's a pipe-dream, of course, because they'd just find some way to fuck with the physical copy to make it account/hardware locked. But in general the idea of just being able to buy a physical copy from the digital storefront is something I'd like to see.

>Or you couldn't care less about consoles?

I care a lot less about them than ever before, but there's still some exclusives - especially jap shit and the rare first party title like Gravity Rush or Bloodborne - which necessitate their purchase. Nothing Microsoft offers though, and the only reason to own an Xbox One at this point is for backwards compatibility - which may end up coming to the PC anyhow.

One other thing: I get the feeling that Microsoft is going to try to put a Windows 10 virtualization onto the Xbox Series X consoles either baked into the OS or as an app download. If they do this - it could end up being (in a few years and after some price drops) a pretty good all-in-one living-room emulation station. Especially if emulator authors work with the Series X fixed specs and fixed virtualization hardware profile/s to optimize a fork of their emulators to be tweaked specifically to that hardware profile and minimize compatibility issues.

Emulation is nothing that Microsoft could advertise as a feature, but enough word of mouth and ease of use could do the talking for them with nothing but a wink and nudge from Phil. And it's a move that Sony has no capability to counter. Unlike the Playstation brand… nobody really gives much of a shit about developing and supporting Xbox emulators, so it's not like MS would be undercutting into their own market since MS is still the most reliable place to play Xbox Original and 360 games. Meanwhile, the system could potentially also play PSX/PS2/PS3/PSP and maybe even Vita or certain PS4 titles in the future. Even if Sony got a custom version of Linux, they don't have the ability to integrate it, no means to really leverage it, and the ubiquity of PS emulators would only hurt their schemes to sell you games you already own.

New. Xbone is a Jaguar CPU + GCN GPU. Sexbox has Zen2 + RDNA.

Still,

>4K resolution at 60FPS, with a possibility of hitting up to 120FPS

Bullshit unless they refer to lightweight games or have tricks like checkerboarding in mind. 5700XT (Navi\RDNA1) does about 50FPS on average at 4k while pulling more than 200W.

>Officially or do you mean third-party emulators?

One, or the other. As you said, it's not like Xbox emulation on the PC is non-existant. It's just stagnated because there's really no interest in it. But I've heard rumors here and there for a while now that Microsoft plans to make Xbox Original and 360 titles playable on Windows 10 PC. Though, admittedly, most of those rumors were from when Microsoft were still trying to make the Windows Store into a Steam competitor before pivoting into the Xbox App and GamePass.

>There's actually been reports that have come out stating that M$ prevented the development of ANY Xbox emulator because they sent C&D letters the moment the projects were announced.

I wouldn't think that Microsoft would have any legal ground by which to halt emulator development, considering that Sony already took the matter to court and the only way they could "win" was by buying up Connectix and bleeding Bleem out with legal fees. That's why commercial emulators are not viable, but home-brew emulators even for current gen systems like the Switch are open season. But legally, the precedent is that emulation is 100% legal and Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo can all suck a fat dick provided there's no actual copyright infringement.

You wouldn't. I wouldn't. But there's a lot of people out there who just don't like the idea of gaming on a PC, are too mired in console war bullshit, or are just too stoopid and scared to get a PC. And it's not a small market.

If Microsoft can give them a safe sandbox environment to tinker with without the fear of messing something up or getting viruses - they might be more apt to dip their toes in, and there's a lot of people who don't mind the idea of a HTPC but don't want to actually put a PC in their livingroom.

Who's to say they didn't? N64 emulation first came out the DAY the system released. Then again, there is also the fact that Nintendo probably didn't want to kill the market too early because they didn't have the ROMs their older games and saw a some potential. And, the only reason why Sony went after VGS and Bleem is because they created a commercial product that was a direct threat to the PS1 and it's game licensing.

Do we have a list somewhere of what games are definitely going to be available on Xbox Series X/PlayStation 5 so far? I believe Ubisoft announced that they delayed some of their games to the next fiscal year, so stuff like Gods and Monsters, Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Skull & Bones, Beyond Good and Evil 2 etc will definitely be on next generation consoles.

Halo Infinite will be available on Xbox Series X day one, but it's also going to be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs as well. They have to get that game running on the original Xbox One models…so it should be interesting to see how Microsoft and 343i handle cross play between Xbox generations as well as PC, and what performance will be like between the Xbox Series X version and the original Xbox One version of Halo Infinite. We've seen Halo Infinite running in engine on slipspace engine and visually just going off the recent two trailers for Halo Infinite so far it doesn't look all that impressive. I was more blown away by how Halo 4 looked on Xbox 360 and I think that Halo 4 looks a lot better than many games which released in the last seven years.

Hellblade II: Senua's Saga looks much more visually striking compared to what's been shown of Halo Infinite so far. Hellblade II won't come to Xbox One but it'll be on Windows 10 PCs and Xbox Series X. Then again the first Hellblade was a very linear game with rudimentary combat and Sesame Street tier puzzle solving and Hellblade II will be more of the same, linear story driven game. For Ninja Theory to release a game like Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice while they were independent was somewhat impressive but if it was a Microsoft first party studio making a game like Hellblade back in 2017 it would feel more like a console launch title/tech demo coming to console four years after launch. That's what Hellblade II looks like. A tech demo and nothing more. Hellblade II might not even launch with Xbox Series X. Could come early 2021 or later.

I like the cooling aspect, the hardware specs seem fine, and they are trying to make things backwards compatibility centred– very important in an age where yesterdays games were significantly better than today's.

What I don't like is Microsoft's inability to read the audience wants, never have they even asked. How stupid is this industry where a company can put out over social media questionnaires and surveys to find out what is wanted, because that is what gave rise to the free to play model– if there are no good games worth buying, better to play the free ones.

Ok. Haven't these been the standard since 2015? I can't tell if I'm supposed to be impressed by the performance since I can't notice any differences like I used to do. But besides that, what are the games that are gonna run on it? The same formula of generic shooter, generic racing game, generic ubisoft open world farcry copy and indie games that are 5 years old? Thanks, I might go and dust off my ps2, as soon as I learn how to run games off a hard drive.

You say that, and yet not a single Microsoft console has failed, unless "didn't win first place" counts as a failure. The Xbox was enough to start a new console brand, the 360 was a monumental success, the Xbone still sold 30-40 million despite all the jokes about it.

Ever since Phil Spencer took over as the head of Xbox it's been much more pleasant and I think we really started to see changes to the way Microsoft views Xbox starting in 2016 with the release of Quantum Break. I remember if you preordered Quantum Break on the Microsoft store you would get the Xbox One version of the game and the PC version of the game at no additional cost, and this would eventually morph into their Xbox Play Anywhere program. Buy a game once on the Microsoft store and you would have access to both the console and PC version. Most if not all first party Xbox games supported Xbox Play Anywhere and still do. Now Microsoft is getting a lot of their games on Steam, like Gears 5 and Halo MCC, more options to buy and play their games where you want and you're not just limited to their Microsoft store.

Then in early 2019 things radically changed with so many studio acquisitions and then Microsoft Studios completely rebranded into Xbox Game Studios. Always Microsoft this, Microsoft Game Studios that, never would have expected them to rebrand to Xbox Game Studios. They're looking at the Xbox brand in a whole new way. It's not just a console anymore, it's really becoming a service and everything is encompassing the Xbox namesake, Xbox console companion app on PC, Xbox Game Studios, Xbox Game Pass (console and PC), Project XCloud game streaming service, etc.

The first party lineup is fairly strong and there's some decent variety so hopefully they can get out of that Halo/Gears/Forza rut soon enough. Sea of Thieves has been promising with all these new content updates and I like that Flight Simulator is being resurrected. I wonder how much of Flight Simulator 2020 has to be streamed because there's no way you're going to install all of that on a console.

I do enjoy Phil compared to the other industry heads, I'd place him just below if not on par with Reggie in terms of caring about the userbase and being fun. Pretty sure they're putting a lot of their stuff on Steam because nobody gives a shit about the Microsoft Store no matter how hard they push it, people have been using .exe files for two decades now and they're not about to learn something entirely new when the old way still works just fine. They're still making sure all those games go through them either way (MCC on Steam still requires a Microsoft account and goes through their servers via Steam's servers because fuck you). I still can't think of any games that I care about on ecksbawks that are already on PC since this place has made me a cynical bastard, whenever I see a new game trailer instead of thinking "wow this looks fun", instead it goes "can't wait to see how broken it is and how long until they fuck it up with microtransactions so I can laugh at them". You people have ruined me even though it's true 99% of the time.

I generally agree, although the thing is with Phil is that while he does care for his job, I don't really think he grew up with gaming like the rest of us, but rather he's a soccer dad that genuinely enjoys games because he enjoys what he does. Like his strategy with Game Pass and focusing on the PC market instead of some console war bullshit that they weren't going to win was the right move.

That said some of the studios they've bought over the years are puzzling additions like Double Fine, Obsidian Entertainment. and Ninja Theory. I do think buying out Minecraft was a smart move in the long run. In a sense Xbox seems to be going through an identity crisis with itself. While there are a bunch of really smart moves, there are also people in the company pushing for really dumb shit like buying out their friends and pushing the whole "diversity" spiel after it's probably a fact at this point that 80% of the gaming demographic looks at "diversity" in the same way as "we want the call of duty audience".

Additionally I saw some diversity higher up bitch about the THQ Nordic AMA, which is never a good sign since a general rule is that anyone who commented on it, is a fucking asshole since THQN did nothing wrong in wanting to communicate with its user base. THQN probably needed to apologize to keep those relations in check, especially since Sony is known for being a bunch of hardcore bullies towards developers and they needed to claim ignorance. That said it seems that Microsoft doesn't really have any direction for the Xbox brand, but rather will use it as the go-to gaming platform for microsoft gaming products. Which I think is fine, although I'm hoping the Sexbox also supports multiple game fronts like GOG, Steam, and Epic Games Store, since Microsoft knows it's not really in a war against Sony and Nintendo anymore, they might as well mix a steam machine with an Xbox One.

While Phil may be extremely lax with the company in the wrong way, I think it's miles better than what Don Mattrick was doing with the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, where he'd only push it as an AAA machine, which is ironically what Sony is trying to do with the PS5. So hopefully the Sexbox will outdo the Playstation 5 this generation and will give Sony a swift kick in the nuts.

Well Reggie had experience with Pizza Hut and if I recall correctly has done deals with Nintendo before he joined Nintendo of America, not only that but he's likely done training before he joined Nintendo since Nintendo is a 100+ year old Japanese company and they must be absolutely ruthless. With Phil he's a fun business man like reggie, but he also seems a bit naive when it comes to certain games and the niche market. I would argue that he should've been targeting Japanese studios before western ones, and now THQ Nordic is probably going to buy out all the good Japanese companies and may leave Microsoft in the dust because of it. Like the Japanese studios wanna have as much reach as possible while playing it extremely safe. While THQ Nordic might offer less money than microsoft, they also provide a larger reach by offering content on PC, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and basically every platform under the sun. It's what THQ Nordic usually does when they're in control, hell fucking Darksiders 3 was on GOG for christ sake.

>You know you need Japanese support

Japan was and still is one of Microsoft's biggest hurdles for the Xbox market so I don't know what they're going to try and do to get the attention of the Japanese audience. I know Yakuza series is finally coming to Xbox, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will all be on Xbox Game Pass early 2020, most of the main Final Fantasy games from VII onwards will be on Xbox Game Pass soon with the exception of XIV, though Phil Spencer says he's trying to bring XIV to Xbox, Phantasy Star Online 2 is getting a North American release on Xbox One and PC mid 2020, NieR Automata came to Xbox One, more Shonen games like One Piece are finally coming to Xbox (Pirate Warriors 4) etc.

Microsoft doesn't necessarily need to kowtow to the Japs but their Xbox-Jap relationship was much better during the original Xbox and early Xbox 360 era, especially when Microsoft published those Mistwalker RPGs like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, getting shmups like Deathsmiles and so on.

It's too bad Darkside's Phantom Dust reboot and PlatinumGames' Scalebound never came to fruition but it's probably best that such games ended up getting cancelled. Of course Microsoft ended up quickly remastering Phantom Dust and they ended up releasing it for free on Xbox One and PC back in 2017 as an apology. That was one of the best moves Microsoft made during the Xbox One console generation and Phantom Dust is so good the rerelease remains one of Microsoft's best games they published in the last 6 or 7 years. Too bad the multiplayer is dead even though it's free to play.

But, Microsoft was the reason both of those games were cancelled.

They kept demanding Darkside and Platinum to add more and more to game and expecting it all to be accomplished on the same budget, making promises to the public that the developers never actually said, and (Then) pulled the rug out from under them due to "not meeting demands" and caused both companies to be left in financial ruin (At least Platinum har Nier to cover their ass).

So if the new Xbox is secretly meant to be a revival of a modded OG Xbox, that's going to have zero appeal for them. I might perhaps end up getting one myself eventually if that's the case, though.

Microsoft was certainly part of the reason. I followed news for the development of the Phantom Dust reboot, I remember the E3 2014 CGI trailer with the Halo Wars tease and nobody working at Darkside had a hand in making that trailer, some of the vertical slice gameplay that was shown and when the reboot was conceived it was multiplayer only, focusing on the eSports crowd, which is why I think it should've been cancelled in the first place. Then you had people like Ken Lobb I think it was, who went around giving interviews saying stuff like the Phantom Dust reboot was going to be like a 40 hour JRPG. Too much mixed messaging, not a clear vision for the game. It was never going to work out.

Scalebound was a situation where Platinum wanted to make an action RPG unlike anything they've made before. The singleplayer footage from Gamescom 2015 was a little promising despite the poor performance, then they also announced the four player mutliplayer which wasn't shown off until E3 2016 and that looked much worse. Platinum was unable to deliver Microsoft's increasing demands and that E3 2016 footage was very rough. Microsoft might continue to renew the Scalebound trademark and there's some potential to revisit the IP in the future but I don't think the Scalebound trademark has been renewed in about two years.

According to Business Insider, the fourth generation of Xbox is just going to be referred to as "Xbox" and not Xbox Series X.

http://archive.is/2h7mv

>"The name we're carrying forward to the next generation is simply Xbox," a Microsoft representative told Business Insider. "And at The Game Awards you saw that name come to life through the Xbox Series X."Like the first Xbox generation, the next one is simply named "Xbox." It's a basic rebranding, but a meaningful one that could help to simplify the Xbox line for interested consumers. It also clarifies Microsoft's intention with its console line. "Similar to what fans have seen with previous generations, the name 'Xbox Series X' allows room for additional consoles in the future," the Microsoft rep told us.

So yeah…

>Xbox

>Xbox 360

>Xbox One

>Xbox

Xbox Series X is just going to be one of the models for the fourth generation Xbox and presumably there will be more, perhaps another console will release in 2022 or 2023 and the concept of console generations will be eradicated. That's what Microsoft said they wanted to do for a while anyway, get rid of console generations and whatnot.

Forza Motorsport 8 is confirmed to be in development, in addition to Hellblade II, so these are both definitely going to be Xbox Series X games. Halo Infinite and Rare's Everwild will also be on Xbox Series X but I think an Xbox One release is still planned for those two games.

>Kids start calling it the Sexbox with their friends at school

>Teachers overhear it

>Teachers are sometimes legaly required to report certain concerns to DCF

>DCF pays a visit and sees the only games they have are rated M

>Parents find out they could get reported to DCF for buying their 11 year old a the newest Xbox

>Parents again stop buying their kids the systems and stop buying them games rated M out of fear of losing their kids to DCF

Well, the xbox has the power of a 1080 and an underclocked Ryzen 3600. Titles can probably (barely) run at 60 with the bare minimum optimization.

>perhaps another console will release in 2022 or 2023 and the concept of console generations will be eradicated

Does Satya think MS is like Apple and has an army of paypigs who will happily buy a new Sexbone edition every two years for 349$ (and that's a generous estimate) just to play TamTam's shit? Tell him someone played a prank on him and replaced cocaine in his stash with ground up lead paint.

Sources on specs? All I see are architectures. A 3600, even significantly underclocked and undervolted, will still pull about 30W, and most of that will come from the tiny core chiplet. That's a lot of concentrated heat in an enclosure as small as that since you don't have much space for massive heatsinks, and assuming you don't want a console louder than a vacuum cleaner. AMD mentioned a custom Zen2-based design. They still haven't released laptop-oriented Zen2 CPUs to my knowledge. Sexbone's CPU should logically be an offshoot of those.

As for GPU, they mentioned something RDNA2-based. Navi cards like 5700, which are RDNA1, barely have 4k@50FPS while shitting out hundreds of watts. RDNA2 can't be much more power efficient, so expect a smaller chip and worse performance than pics related. If they actually go for 4k60, they will have to go for obscene image quality compromises which will likely defeat the point of 4k.

>Does Satya think MS is like Apple and has an army of paypigs who will happily buy a new Sexbone edition every two years for 349$

I think there's a good chance that the "mid gen refreshes" were kind of an outlier last generation. A confluence of extremely shitty hardware even by console standards, with the popularization of two key meme technologies. 4k and VR. Even if Sony hadn't lead the charge with the PS4Pro, which they needed to make PSVR even minimally acceptable, Microsoft was desperate for a soft-reboot of their system to start digging their way out of the hole the Xbox One launch left. Overall I think the "Pro" systems are simply too expensive to engineer and market to have one in development every three years, and even if they do continue with that plan - the first major flop is going to make everyone gunshy. They're not exactly catching the market on fire as it is since most people are still going to go for the cheapest option which has the games they want to play. And I don't really see the seeds of what could be "the next big thing" which would require a power boost being planted just yet. The biggest push would be competition from the PC market, which is bigger than the entire console market and growing in both parity to console offerings as well as it's own exclusives. The thing is, most PCs, even gaming PCs, aren't that powerful… so while the overall game market is enormous, the actual segment of that market that consoles are competing is only a fraction of that. And despite HTPCs being a thing for forever - most people still would rather plop a shitbox console in the living-room and keep their PC at their desk. So there is substantial overlap as well.

I don't really see where the push for a mid-gen refresh would even come from next generation, and the whole idea just seems like a big waste of time and money for console manufacturers. I think they're just keeping the door open to the possibility if they do need to, and aren't willing to throw current refresh customers under the bus on the eve of next-gen by telling them that it was all a marketing scam because they cut corners on their initial launch systems. If they don't follow through on the refresh formula, I doubt they'll even announce it. You just won't hear anything about it ever again, except maybe as a footnote to an earning call in some financial blog.

True, but why would THQ Nordic take the deal when they've been constantly growing? If anything a Microsoft buy out could hurt their business rather than expand it. Like they're actually listening to what gamers want and are producing quality content. Even spin offs like Darksiders Genesis are pretty solid for a low budget title. While companies like EA, 2K and Activision are focused on short term crazy profits, THQN is smart enough to realize that things like microtransactions and half assed DLC will only hurt them in the long run, and are avoiding it. Although one complaint I have with them is that they don't keep Deep Silver on a leash, but the main thing is that they just want developers to create what they want to create, and that's been helping them grow long term. Like I'm disappointed that they had to throw us under a bus, but I understand why they needed to do it as well. Mainly in order to not be seen as a "GamerGate" company as to alienate people.

>Microsoft was desperate for a soft-reboot of their system to start digging their way out of the hole the Xbox One launch left

That's because their initial design was stupid. PS4 and Xbone had ostensibly similar hardware configurations: an 8 core Jaguar uarch CPU with a GCN2-based GPU and 8GB of shared RAM. The CPUs ran at different frequencies, although the difference was small — 1.6 vs 1.75GHz. But the PS4 GPU had 1152CUs, 72TMUs, and 32ROPs versus 768, 48, and 16 for the Xbone GPU, while their frequencies were comparable (800 vs 853MHz). PS4 also had GDDR5 for its unified RAM, while Xbone had conventional DDR3 plus that 32MB ESRAM buffer. The GPU needs the bandwidth, and the ESRAM chip offered more of it than GDDR5 in PS4, but 32 megs is nothing, and DDR3 is much slower bandwidth-wise. MS tried to be cute and ended up with a more complex design than competition, and the latter had a 40-50% more capable GPU with a better RAM config. So PS4 showed better performance in multiplats, and Xbone need a refresh to stop the humiliation.

>Overall I think the "Pro" systems are simply too expensive to engineer to have one in development every three years

Both just use AMD-engineered and TSMC-built APUs. Sure, Sony and MS get custom designs and have their say regarding those, but Jaguar, GCN2/4, and now Zen2 and RDNA have all started out as conventional stuff, so it's not like the custom designs will be a massive departure. Jaguar was x86 for tablets and low power laptops, Zen2 is x86 from desktops to big dick enterprise like EPYC server CPUs, and GCN/RDNA are just AMD GPUs since 2011. These aren't special snowflake ASICs. The updated Xbone was notable for competely switching its memory config, but PS4 Pro is basically a GPU refresh. They aren't tremendously expensive to engineer because they're basically boutique PCs with some bells and whistles. Think Apple.

>market

That's a problem. Because they're not Apple.

>The thing is, most PCs, even gaming PCs, aren't that powerful

According to Steam hardware survey, which is a shit source, but there isn't a better one, a GTX1060 is the most popular discrete GPU today. And 1920x1080 is the most popular resolution. A 1060 is 3.5 years old and still offers close to 60FPS on average in modern AAA at 1080p. The problem is that recently released RX5500(RDNA1) has only slightly better performance for similar price with similar power draw. Moore's law is almost dead, and all the big or rapid performance advancements now will cost power draw because node shrinks are much more difficult than before. That's a problem for consoles, they can't handle 300W of heat output.

I believe it will be a repeat of the previous generations, in that it lasted almost twice at much, because of the recession from 2008. They launched Kinect and Move to try and extend the life of their consoles, but overall did not make a new console after five years, which was the average console cycle back then.

I believe a recession is really close, maybe next year just in time for the election, and that it will be worse from that of 2008. n this case, I am not even sure how well the sales will be for the Sexbox or the PS5, but believe they will neither try to make a Pro version, but rather expand the lifecycle, as the first few year or two will be marked by poor sales, both on hardware(console sales) and software(game sales).
