Wasteland 2 is just okay in my opinion. I remember seeing a video about why the design choices for it were bad and it basically boiled down to taking away player choice. Take the major choice for example, saving the town or the food science center. There's no option to split your party if you wanted to save both, which would result in a greater challenge, it's one or the other. After that, you are kind of limited in your choices like that.
Also not really looking forward to Wasteland 3, it does do a nuclear winter which might be interesting but it does the RAGE 2 thing of putting Neon pick stuff on armor and projectiles for instance. The 2nd game had at least a grounded aesthetic in realistic arms and armor, giant robot scorpions aside.
