Any anons here play NS2? It's been a while since I played (last time was when they added the machine gun) because I took a break to focus on my studies. Is it still good? I was wondering whether its worth getting back into, because relearning that game is such a bitch.

I quit shortly after they added enemy healthbars. Shit was pretty OP. That was right around the time that Overwatch released, so probably about June 2016. Surprised the game is even still limping along after they pretty much said "fuck you" to all their veteran players at the time.

I did when it was released, up to shortly before Modgate2014. I haven't been to Steam since. It was alright at that time, but a little off-balance. From >>16780079 , it sounds like things only got worse since then.

The only thing I can think of in 2015 is that the default mod-allowability changed and nearly all mods became incompatible with most servers. That was mostly because people were using neon-colored skins to aid with spotting and tracking targets.

It was the first attempt by both Valve and Bethesda to seriously try to monetize the vibrant mod community, especially the Elder Scrolls mod scene. It broke the community apart, which never truly recovered, and exposed Valve's and Bethesda status as just regular kike companies ruining a hobby with the love of money. I still have plenty of screenshots from that time.

Right before this was also the height of Valve worship everywhere on the internet (even on the youngish 8chan), with unironic memes praising Gabe Newell praise. It disillusioned some non-normalfaggots who should have known better than to trust an ex-Microsoft employee.
