There are supposed to be at least 10 new game announcements as well as updates on recently announced games such as Half-Life: Alyx and Gears of War Tactics. This show will feature live performances from Green Day and Chvrches.
For the first time ever, The Game Awards is having a new event called "The Game Festival" which is a digital consumer event on Steam that features free limited-time demos to download and play. The Game Festival runs from December 12 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. PT to December 14 at the same time. Demos for at least twelve upcoming games have been announced and there might be more. There will be demos for the following games:

I'm just curious about any new players in the video game industry and this one was announced by the usual journos but no one seems to be asking where gaming industry vets got enough money to by a substantially sized studio, along with re-hiring most of it's staff again as freelancers. It looks legit but I can't help but think it's fishy.
