So how has everyone been enjoying this game? Personally I'm having quite a bit of fun with it, although I find the creature core system to be a bit of an annoyance, overall I'm really liking the game.

I don't disagree, but at the same time ever since the first Darksiders I've been waiting on them to make that Strife game because no one's making cuhrayzee TPS games.
But after Remnant I really hope they don't just make it a slow TPS with loot. Remnant is fine but it was not remotely what I want from the Strife TPS.

Ye olde THIQQ's plan was for the second game to be an actual goddamn sequel to the first, four player co-op between all four horsemen
Darksiders 2 was the first hint we got that that wouldn't be happening
Still though, I feel the same way, I've been waiting to play as Strife this whole time, his gun in the first game tickled my nuts but it was hilariously underpowered, it sucks that we're finally getting him realized but it's a low effort spinoff, probably as a quick cash grab after DS3 wasn't a massive hit
At least the combat is still more or less intact

I really want Strife's game to be good. Gunslinger from DMC, Vanquish, Max Payne, some Stranglehold for stunt style. These should be the things they base it on. But it will most likely just be a shitty Souls game with guns.

Also I tried pirating strangehold recently and I didn't really enjoy it. It seems far too easy with the style being too "scripted", if it makes any sense. Fights seemed more like they wanted you to kill X or Y enemy with an environmental instead of an actual fight and I disliked that, but then again I only played like 15 minutes.
