XCOM2. I dig it but I wish everyone and their mothers would shut the fuck up and let me play instead of having Bradford interrupt me every two seconds. Ended up installing a shitton of UI and QoL mods in the attempt to shut Bradford up and I'm liking it more now, but I wonder why half the QoL mods I downloaded weren't already built into the main game.
I really enjoy the whole Chosen subplot and I think it makes it very interesting gameplay wise, EU and EW were incredibly lackluster and were barely above a mobile game in my opinion so it's neat to see they learned in the sequel. I'll probably finish this game thirce, once on vanilla, once on long war 2 and once on spectrum green and then I hope by then Phoenix Point would be patched and fixed so I can try that.

Nothing. I need a decent podcast, when 8ch when down I started to listen to those youtube videos critquing something like Mauler or Joseph Anderson and I've come to the conclusion that these people are so high on their own fumes they must be taking in less oxygen than a regular human being because I can't imagine anyone being this full of themselves. I still listen to Mauler's podcasts but mostly because they're kind of funny when the furry isn't trying to be the wise man of the group.

I guess because I'm feeling the exact opposite at the moment. Sure, humanity is at it's most prosperous, economically wealthy, and techonologically advanced stage it's ever been at along with other numerous achievements. But I would also say right now is the most confusing and uncertain it's ever been. And if I was born earlier in history I might've as well been a dirt poor peasant with a greater likelihood of dying from disease, but at least I would've known my purpose and there wouldn't be a constant stream of militant Atheists telling me there is none. And even then, the Elites would've been there outright and upfront instead of hiding who knows where and creating paranoia about what's propaganda, what's controlled and what's not. Because of the advent of things like chemicals and industrialization you have to wonder what's having what effect on the public and is it intentional? It's like how they say, ignorance is bliss. I can't help but be overly concerned about the direction things are going and I don't know if I should be trying to inform others in an attempt to create more conscious decision making.

That's why I'm struggling so much now, I don't know what I should do. I don't know what is and isn't. I feel like I have no hobbies or no positive influence or craft in my life. Whether that be writing, drawing, baking, woodworking, etc. I feel I have no goal or skill which I'm always getting better with. I feel I have no definition to myself as a person, I feel disconnected from reality most of the time like I'm constantly dreaming or drifting. And when I tell myself I should work on these hobbies or skills, I have no motivation or recieve no enjoyment out of it to keep myself going. And I know that's something that's no immediate, but it's a pain in the ass to draw and write for 2 months straight and still feel no accomplishment out of it or sense of world. I don't necessarily want to be important, I think too many people already think that and it mucks everything up, but I want to find importance. Everything just feels so disconnected.

Ironically, I have a friend that never shuts the fuck up about how I should write. I actually never thought myself much a writer until he mentioned it and I used to be more of a cartoonist or interested in drawing. But anyways, the more he mentions it, the more I never actually write because of him. And that's because then I get worried about how other people percieve it or how I should present it instead of writing or drawing for myself like I used and like how I used to get enjoyment out of it. He also never shuts the fuck up about how often he writes or how much he writes instead of making it about "what" he writes. Ironically, the more I'm left alone or not asked about it is when I tend to get more stuff done. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist, so I don't like writing or drawing unless I'm wholly enjoying it. Even I don't like the work in the end, if I like doing it, that's what helps.

Is it bad that most of the dreams I have are in third person? It's not so much a third person feeling as it is "I feel like I'm in an N64 game and nothing beyond the fog exists or has rendered or loaded in, life doesn't exist outside of my field of view" sort of feeling, and it's way more complex than even that or a "third person" feeling.
