Did you enjoy Kingmaker? Hope you weren't waiting for the sequel!
http://archive.ph/UKWJF
While Kingmaker was one of the best APs to come out, they picked one of the worst APs to make a sequel from. The first book is literally written by the hack who did Siege of Dragonspear and has equally cringy trannies shoehorned in. The other 5 books were almost as bad.

No, but you get to fuck the nymph trying to destroy your kingdom because she was cursed by even more powerful Fey to spite her from trying to gain more power

I can get behind that, provided you take responsibility and marry her afterward to provide a stable and healthy home for your children.

It's kind of like a module for a tabletop game, but in DLC form. Instead of releasing a normal module, they release slightly longer modules over the span of 6 smaller books. That way, each time they release a new module, they can squeeze a silly amount of money out of each person who is willing to buy their stuff.
Some of the "interesting content" they pad their "adventure path" books with in order to make the books appear more sizable include multiple full-page artworks that appear in multiple books, and feats/traits/abilities that already exist but with a different name. That's ignoring the sideboxes that tell DMs how the players are supposed to feel and react to events.

That problem is unique to Wrath of the Righteous.

The main difference though is that APs are like a serial, whereas normal modules are usually a one-off. Each of those 6 books is designed to have its own sub-adventure, but with some kind of overarcing plot linking them all together.

The video game Kingmaker is good enough. The tabletop is literally the worst choice of system and setting you could make.

PF has mountains of material, in addition to being mostly compatible with heaps of 3.5e/d20 stuff. It's mechanically mediocre, but overall okay and easy to dump more fun stuff into.

No, Paizo only started crumbling after they stomped the 4rries, at which point they became overconfident and started soaking up poz.

Sort of. It's worth a pirate for a single playthrough. The biggest issues I had were with the combat, and those basically boiled down to:
>too much shit on the screen at a time and not enough encounters where it's a few strong enemies
>too many per round and per combat abilities to keep track of or use effectively, even with excessive pausing
>flanking counts as being active when being threatened by two sources instead of actually being flanked
>teamwork feats being stupidly OP
>no good party vs party fights (think assassins from BG1 or the evil mercenary parties from BG2)
>enemy casters are few, incredibly weak, and have piss poor spell selection and AI (you have party that's like level 14 or 15 and enemy clerics open up with summon creature 3 and Prayer)
Thankfully, most of the issues can be fixed with the Turn Based Mod and the real flanking mod. Even if you fix the combat though, you still gotta deal with dull party members, poor decisions/ramification system, and that stupid fucking Hell Knight quest with the Gary Stu OC. Not a great game, but still better than DOS2 in pretty much every aspect.
