Now that the thread is actually posted and not erroring out, I can talk about the gameplay. Each body part has it's own HP and armor, and each button is mapped to an attack that, normally, attacks a different body part. Normally because facing and what the enemy is currently doing will change what it actually hits. It sounds simple, but it works really well in practice.

God I hope they stay as far away from Clan of Champions as possible, including staying away from NISA.
Also they better let you still dual wield shields again. I beat Gladiator Begins with nothing but shields, it was quite the experience

Neat. I looked at Gladiator Begins recently and it looks fun enough to emulate. From the way they spoke it seems like they're looking at more platforms than just PS5, and Octopath also released on steam. I hope that means we get a PC version.

New info. Apparently it's a greatly expanded remake of Gladiator Begins set for release in 2020 and is titled "Gladiux" (why?). One of the biggest issues with Begins was Historical matches didn't have the scale they did in Road to Freedom, which should be fixed.

Co-Dev is announced as… Starcaster Games? Never heard of them and they don't even have a Wikipedia page. Only things they've made are A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX and So Many Me, neither of which I've heard of.
PC version is confirmed at least.

I played it, it's a sub-par mega man clone with abilities, mouse aim and really good music. Game was really janky with one of the least satisfying dodges/dashes I've ever seen in a vidya.
