It is agreed that Just Dance is a trashfire of series, right? That there's absolutely no skill require to play the damn thing and it will never be as good as other series such as DDR, correct?
SO, could someone mind helping me figure out WHY it is that the first entry of the series is just "fast food" trash, meanwhile the fourth entry managed to reach "throw it in the incinerator" levels of trash? I'm serious. Going from playing all the songs in the first game to playing some of the songs in the fourth game, I feel like I got whiplash because the experience was so sudden and jarring.

Anon, the normalfags that play Just Dance are not in it for a test of skill or challenge. It's a party game, an icebreaker to have on in the background during a social gathering. You know what those are, right?
What I'd rather discuss is the amazing fact they are STILL making Just Dance for the Wii.

Short version: I'm playing them as a warm-up to my morning exercise routines.
Long version: Sister bought the games several years ago, remembered that they were fun when I played them, flipped between the first JD and MadWorld as part of my warm-up for exercising, recently beat MadWorld and completed every song on the original JD, also have JD4 and 2016, threw in 4 and felt like I was blindsided by how much of a step down it was from the first game despite being the "same" game.

Guitar Hero at least gives you a pretend guitar and real drum/vocal simulation. It's stylish that's for sure. But no better than the weeb miku games. As it stands Just Dance > Gitaroo Man.
