I'll try to keep the blogposting to a minimum, but I realized how dissatisfied I am with my childhood. Between being a shut-in who never made any friends and might as well have been homeschooled, and taking all the cool shit that was around back then for granted I'll never forgive myself for not wanting to go to the local arcade on my birthday, a week before it had to close out of nowhere and generally making me wish I could travel back in time and slap myself in the face, there's only one healthy outlet I have; escapism.
So what games replicate the era of skateboarding, NickToons, and would fill the void in my blogposting heart and probably just make my nostalgia and regrets hurt more? The best games I can think of are Earthbound Zero Beginnings is a faggy subtitle and Earthbound itself, and Mother 3 isn't quite the exact atmosphere and theme I'm looking for before you suggest it. I was gonna try Treasure Master for the sole purpose of the walk cycle being badass, but nothing else about it particularly interests me.
No /ss/ games, though. Not my thing. Pics are the best representation of what I wish I could've been, if it helps give you an idea of what to suggest.
