I signed up for a local tournament and hoping that I fare alright. Haven't played against humans in awhile but a couple months ago I beat my doubles partner in 5v5 Squad Strike with a single fighter.

Look for local tournaments and sign up for something. You meet a lot of interesting losers that way. Back in the Smash 4 days I lost in bracket to some faggot in a rabbit mask, turns out he was number 3 in Pennsylvania.
