I will discuss about the premise of iron man with the presence of GE. When you jump in a server today on oldschool runescape, the quickest way to get good armor and weapons is by relying on the market. Everything is there and at low prices, it is globalized, a giant Amazon warehouse with no workers and instant delivery.

Farm cow hides to get 10 or 15 attack and defense, sell hides and obtain steel set, or even mithril scim etc. You just skipped everything and didn't rely on any skill. You didn't trade with players or even typed a single social interactive message for item exchange.

Iron man: The game is now single player, but you can still chat with people in your area. You take your time, quests matter because you need almost every skill, and obtaining each item is much more rewarding. The path to mithril is more fun, you travel to cities to get each piece of armor (since smithing is the slowest skill).

V scape is stupid and this thread will fall in a few days but thanks to whoever read this and plays OSRS.

OSRS(TM) is the only public way to play runescape 07. I don't support OSRS mods injecting their political view points into the game. based and clown-pilled. vscape is the best and only worthwhile private rs server. the only downside is that they only have 2/3rds of the quests and are missing the really fun ones with good rewards (fairy rings, mourning's end, GWD, etc).
