Leechers
1. Before requesting,search online and even use distributed search engines e.g.InfraSearch,Opencola,YaCy,FAROO. See below for famous links.
2. Look first in the archives and volafile.
3. Be as specific as possible.If you have the cover art of the file you want,post it in both the share thread and in vola room.
4. Due to asshats in the thread,links to files will be purposely misleading (have spaces,lines,keys&passwords split in the post),including torrent hashes.
If you see a string of characters (e.g. c12fe1c06bba254a9dc9f519b335aa7c1367a88a) with or without dashes, it is a magnet link.
If your bittorrent is shit,prepend magnet:?xt=urn:btih: to the string.
a. Find and Replace (sed/tr/awk) is your friend.
Uploaders
1. When in doubt;upload,ask questions later.
2. Upload to many alternative sources (5+) and keep a local copy if space permits.
3. Use a URL shorterner (spaced or split) and/or paste relinks (e.g zerobin.net) on file links to confuse bots.
4. Encrypt your uploads now with a password,key, or generator.Rename the files something random, even their checksums.Maybe even pad files to the nearest GB or so,to confuse bots.
5. If your connection is stable,it is extremely advisable to self host. Using anonymity tools like Freenet,I2P,Gnunet,distributed NNTP or MixMinion/Mixmaster.

1. Before uploading a batch of miscellaneous files,e.g images and music be sure they are unique enough to stand on their own and that you ask for the majority's the consensus whether to upload the files individually.
2. Vola room owner edit- Upload 5 files and then zip the rest if the dump is larger then 6-7 files. Music Albums exceeding 5 files are to be zipped.When uploading .torrent, either add them to the a zip of the game or just don’t upload those misc files.Properly label files so that they can be identified without asking someone else.For lewd stuff with filenames like RJ74765 either add a .txt linking to the contents on a website or just add the title to the .txt e.g "BIG BOOTY WOMEN SIT ON SHOTA FACE (RJ34734)".
3. You can filter files by file type (.txt, .rar, etc) or search the file list with the bar hidden by the filter files button.

Need original files of aliens versus predator classic 2000 steam version (to run with steam emu). FAKKU has a ton of good artists under them but it always feels like most of those works are only made to appeal to normalfags. They're played so safe and are written like your average porno but with none of the crazy fun/absurdity that comes with 2D.

If you download an installer from GOG, you have it, you can share it with people, you can make back-ups, you can hash them to know if a copy you download of the same installer is good no matter where it comes from. It is true that the cost of making a game is grossly inflated among overfunded crowdfunding and AAA but it sure as hell isn't zero. Oh hello. I'll just point out a few things.
- I determined a bit too late that you should use Cubic Spline and not Lanczos as the resampler since the latter produces awful linework.
- QGIS approach should only ever be used for really annoying stitch work such as that, first two related as original scene and stitch.
- Easier ones should refer to third related, though note the sky cloning is kind of badly done. Most anime stitching is really simple though and just needs the aligning and mask layer blending part.
- TIFF actually has serious use for cases like images needing more "colour channels" (infrared, ultraviolet, or full hyperspectral) and GeoTIFF for metadata related to location and transposition to map an area. QGIS's intended use case is for spatial mapping not anime girl lewds. For general image editing though just use your image editor's native format so you can preserve things like layers. For Photoshop it's PSD, for GIMP it's XCF. Final export as JPEG or PNG depending.
- Those other two screencaps raise one critical point: Lossy codecs are really heavily determined by their encoder implementation. For MP3 if you aren't using LAME you are doing it wrong. I don't have much experience with image sadly, and usually use GIMP with 90-95 quality for JPEG output. Might check out that CLI approach some time.

Just having the option to pay for a game digitally has ruined gaming, it allows for what is plaguing the industry today such as rampant DLC and mtx, games being intentionally released unfinished or unplayable without a patch because they can easily patch it through whatever platform which further encourages them to be released that way, being charged for a download, having to go through some console wannabe platform to legally play games, easy access which means more casuals play games which means games are made for them which means lower quality games, etc. Digital distribution should not be paid for, don't care about physical copies? Paying for digital is also technological reversion. Distributing data through the internet has been a thing since the internet was created, charging for it is a step back, especially when you take into consideration piracy innovated and created torrents which distribute data without requiring a server. It is essentially giving a donation to a company and as consolation you get the ability to download. I can infinitely copy and paste the game from my DRM free physical copies too, on top of actually getting a physical product in return for my money and not financially rewarding being charged for a download and all the negatives that come with it. Hell I'm able to copy and paste the game from some of my older physical copies with offline DRM such as offline CD keys too, and unlike your precious GOG I don't have to have an account or be authorized by a server at any point.
You don't care about open source, if you did you wouldn't be advocating for paying for digital distribution which is infinite because as has already been stated, it lowers the bar for access making casuals who don't care about that the main audience far more than they already were. A benefit of the barrier of games being sold physical only is that the only people that play are people willing to spend the extra effort using a physical copy or pirating which means they are more likely to care.

Is there a version of Yakuza 0 that's 100% denuvo free? I do not want that crap on my PC if possible. I know it was patched out of 0, but did patch actually remove it instead of just deactivating? I know that post-denuvo file is smaller, but I want to be sure that denuvo is gone completely.
Second, is there a torrent without Denuvo? Best I could find are December 2018 releases whihc bypass it, and then there are follow patches. However, notes on all I found said to prevent game from contacting internet and didn't mention patching out Denuvo itself. Game is pretty cheap now, and I just want to know if it is even worth it to bother with downloading it, individual patches, and putting up with deactivated Denuvo just to try it out.

Welp, more bad news especially for non archivefags.. Another one might have bitten the dust. Looks like Torrminatorr just got shoah'd without warning. It was the last source I knew to get clean, up-to-date GOG releases after GOD went down keep in mind Torrminatorr is THE source from which most other pirate sites that still offer new GOG releases and updates get their files from.

(dead) should only be used when there's no links, not when there was one gone but other still live, so be careful about removing such links from the files I've been combing through. It should be possible to automate the Mega link validation process once they're all consistent, Perl or Python or maybe even straight Bash could do it in tandem with megals(1).

Steam has people going out of their way to hamper or completely ban any VN that appeals to straight men. Whether it be yuri content or a typical high-school dating sim, it doesn't matter to them. Putting the VN on the Switch will definitely help them. One smart thing they did was host their games on their own site. However, most people won't know the VNs exist there unlike Steam. Cafe is stupidly easy to scrape from, I made a bash script to do so about a year ago when I didn't even know how bash works. It just grepped the title and first page link from a book page, wget the first page, grep the image url from the first page, then replace the 0.jpg with a for loop that iterates over the number of pages. I even added automatic pdf creation with imagemagick. PDF related, made that one for /cuckquean/ I think.
I advise anons to look into scripting like this themselves, instead of just relying on scripts made by others.
