I really hated fucking lakes and robot armies in it.

And overall gameplay felt like unfinished version of CnC. And constant reinforcements. I dont remember a single time I needed reinforcements. It would make more sense if they were hostile to player. Or their allegiance should be based on your decisions, because I think there were some minor factions (minor, like fucking fremen), unless I remember it wrong.

I felt like this about the game itself and since Westwood was under EA it's more than likely that they haven't finished it. AI was quite weak too, by the way.

Still, it had a lot of good ideas and potential, overall the game is quite decent and I enjoyed it. However, I prefer 2000 more, even though it's basically a straight remaster of Dune 2 on CnC engine it aged well and I replay it a lot.
