I never played the Force Unleashed because my computer was never good enough to run "euphoria" without crashing in 15 minutes. I only ever heard bad things about it, but you know what, it's pretty nice. It's not devil may cry, but it's trying.

I think FU1 for pc/ps3/360 had the best combat. The wii version sucked from what I heard. Then again so did the pc version and yet I enjoyed it so who knows, I'll have to emulate those. Then again emulating the wii remote is a bitch to do so that would probably eliminate the main purpose.

Force Unleashed was great fan service, Force Unleashed 2 wasn't as good but still a fun white male power fantasy simulator. My favorite Star Wars game is probably Kotor 2 with LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga being a close second.

Star Wars was my life as a kid. It's funny, but it feels like I've actually gone through the stages of grief and am now at acceptance. I used to fucking RAGE about what Disney was doing to Star Wars, but now I simply do not care. I remember the good times, before the dark times, before the Empire of Mouse.

Open world universe game like Elite, but in Star Wars. You can pilot freighters and be a smuggler, pilot a fighter and be a mercenary assisting smugglers/rebels, even Imperials if they need back-up in non-Imperial territory.
Jedi would rarely, if ever, actually show up, and return them to being mysterious and rarely seen semi-mythical people with strange powers.
There would also be some first-person sections for walking on planets and space-stations and engaging in back-room deals to trade spice and other contradband, or take on a bounty hunt.
And don't forget the racing mini-game.
Or you could literally join the Empire, take their tests, and work your way up to captain a Star Destroyer and get a visit from Vader who uses your ship to stage an assault on a rebel outpost.
Fucking Twi'leks would be optional.

One thing playing as a lone "normal" guy in the Clone Wars would emphasize is IDing and destroying commanders, ideally at long range, to make droid units stupider. Without them the B1s would be reduced to basic charge and fire.
Clone Wars also helps with the compulsion to loot everything not bolted down by making the common stuff worthless instead of heavily damaged. Phase 1 Clone Trooper armor is badly fitted to clones, let alone anyone else, and only worth its recycling value and the electronics in the helmet. E-5 Blaster Rifles heat up really quickly and can't be used by meatbags for long. Likewise, the standard clone rifle is a massive, clumbersome thing you can't loot a ton of.

Raxus Prime might be a better example. Apparently Ord Mantell was retconned to be a mostly rural planet with one continent being "Scraplands", which I guess is what was depicted in Shadows of the Empire

The wii has shitty wagglan controls whereas the PS2 version is more or less a copy of the PS3 version, the only difference is that the game forces you to rely on lightsaber combos and finisher QTEs because force powers aren't broken as shit, the lightning for example no longer kills just by touching, it only briefly stuns, if you want to kill someone with it you need to fully upgrade it and waste the entire energy bar.
