You can pirate windows 10. Just go to piratebay, search for:

Download one of the releases, then download a program called 'rufus' to turn a usb drive into a bootable drive using the windows iso you downloaded.

Install it like normal, choose 'custom' install then disable all the telemetry options. When it says to select which one you want to install, select "KMS Pre-activated".

Then, go search for 'windows 10 disable telemetry updates script'. There's several open-source scripts that can do this for you, and also a proprietary program called Shutup10 that does this as well. What this does is break updates for Win10, so it won't ever try to update.

Your motherboard has a BIOS. You can generally enter a menu for it using some F-Key function during startup, but if there's no OS installed it would automatically put you in the BIOS menu.

The BIOS is responsible for reading any form of storage, looking if it's bootable, and booting it. Modern BIOSes all work properly with both disks and USBs, they'll both appear in the same list, you pick one, and it boots (if possible).

Windows probably has some retard-proof "make me a bootable USB" program. Or you could use one of the many "install an ISO to USB" programs like Rufus https://rufus.ie/

It takes a few minutes to download the ISO depending on your connection speed, and a few minutes to make the usb bootable. It is not fucking hard man. you can also use ublock to find scripts (and anything else) and block them, but using the script block is much easier.

if you use mozilla you can still use noscript and just have it partially disabled. it'll allow scripts but stop obnoxious/obvious ones. it doesnt always stop the anti-adblock stuff, but it does sometimes. if it does pop you can just manually disable the script or scripts responsible.

just remember all anti-adblock scripts are scripts. and scripts can be blocked just like any element loaded in a browser.

As an Nvidia user myself I honestly miss being on AMD because I very rarely had issues with drivers. since money seems to be a concern I sincerely suggest just cheaping out on CPU and GPU so that you can invest that money into an ASRock x470 taichi, which should be able to support everything from the cheap little $99 dollar quadcore Zen 2 chips up

to the16 core 3950x. (For Reference, the 3950x has the same TDP as 2700x at stock settings)

The heatsink that comes with 2600x is good enough for light overclocking and falls within margin of error when compared to cooler Master 212, cryorig h7, etc.

Daily reminder AMD is selling what should be 200-250 midrange R5 8c16t parts as R7 for $400 due to zero competition from intel. All for those sweet sweet margins.

Game performance is heavily tied to GPUs these days. What space age games are you planning on playing that requires the newest hardware? They don't need to deactivate anything. With the modular chiplet design they just need 3 4c8t chiplets, 2 on one side and a lone chiplet on the other. Also with the addition of an I/O die there shouldn't be any big latency issues no matter what state the chiplet is in. There is no way AMD is going to use defective chiplets to put together an enthusiast CPU.

For most of the Ryzen 2000 series there's no point, XFR2, AMDs auto overclocking feature, maxes it out in most cases and even extreme amounts of overclocking only gets you to 4.4ghz. You're better off overclocking memory instead.

With both consoles being announced to release with 8c/16t processors it has become the industry standard. After 2020 most six and definitely quad core processors are not going to cut it for AAA titles. Besides, AMD CPUs trend toward depreciation over time compared to Intel which maintain a good chunk of their original MSRP. Expect price drops by as early as the holiday season at the end of the year.
