I loved this game as a kid. And only later I found out what a shitty company Atari was.
This is where that Drivergate Horror started.
<Let me show you how much content they cut from the PS2 Game:
About 10-20 cars (including 2 Motorbikes and the famous 2nd Monster Truck that can be only accessed with a Gameshark).
A ton of props in Constructor mode due to performance issues (including the ability to link ramps and build them high to make big jumps and roads (one of the challenge levels shows this) and a car pile-up prop for the Monster Truck to drive over).
A cut Racing and Free-Roam Mode (it's hidden in the code).
A lot of Levels in Career Mode that never made it past the beta stage due to insane difficulty, time constraints or performance (evidence in the trailers, each movie was supposed to have 5-7 levels, but the ones that ended up with only 3 of them had the most content cut out (Whoopin and a Hollerin and Conspiracy)).
More Music (licensing issues).
A bigger more detailed Stadium.
Some of these can be accessed with a Gameshark, and the evidence lies in all of the trailers. This is all because Atari wouldn't give them a bit more time beyond a very tight schedule they either had to meet by the deadline, or they get docked on their finances (meaning nobody gets paid until the game is finished).
