First game was proper game while being a tech demo for a game engine, second and third games were all over the goddamn place with being console trash, tech demo, and a shitty horribly written finale to all that fucking build up.

crisis 1 was dogshit like many games that came out around 2007, its a techdemo at best with an interesting premise but is executed poorly, similar to far cry 1, where you are a guy on some island fighiting soldiers then turns to shit once aliens get brought into it.

In gameplay terms, didn't see anything interesting in it.

The devs thought that high, self-regenerating HP isn't cool enough for the protag, so they added 4 superhuman abilities to ease the game even more. I breezed through the game and only got paused at the last stage on the aircraft carrier.

Really boring. 3/10.

The alien levels were shit because they had performance issues, linear level design, and the mechanics that you've used in the first half were useless.

The first half was great because it was a sandbox shooter with destruction. It was only boring if you played it in a boring manner.

Far Cry 1 kept you on your toes on the normal difficulty because you were forced to perform every dirty tactic in your disposal, you ran out of ammo quickly and you could conserve it by using vehicles and turrets. In contrast, Crysis becomes painfully boring unless if you play on max difficulty.

Second and third ones were forgettable. First one was only noteworthy because it was one of those PC-raping games that pushed PCs beyond their limits. Like how Half-Life 2 did in 2004, or how Battlefield 3 did in 2011.

1 was fun, 2 was fun and 3 was ok. Wish the abilities made you more god like in the first game though, you're in a suit that can apparently deflect 40.cal rounds but you die to getting punched.

It's alright. Warhead's multiplayer with the nuke tank was super fun and I enjoy jumping into the game and having fun with the first few pre-alien missions.

Worth a pirate at least, they're both competent in gunplay but they might seem a bit boring because of how repetitive it can get. Crysis 2 and 3 are both 6/10 games.

First was great until the aliens reared their ugly heads 2/3 of the way through the game and the rest of the game was just scripted setpieces. Visuals have also aged very well for being 12 years old and not taking a heavily-stylized visual approach.

Second game was dull consoleshit compared to the first, but it was still better than a lot of FPS's from that time.

Third game was pretty good and an improvement from the second, but it's short and still inferior to the first game's first two acts.

Nigger the last time Crytek made a decent game was back in 2007. Crysis 2 was garbage and Crysis 3 was 4 hours long (even shorter if you were familiar with the game) and you played as a nano-nigger. Why would you trust them with a "proper" sequel?

The only thing Crytek is capable of is making games with sharp and good visuals. Gameplay and story-wise they are absolutely incompetent.
