Major things
>unemployment rate is legit like 32% or 37% but you barely see that in-game
>despite one third of the fucking country being unemployed there are barely any protests against androids, the most you see are 15-20 people with signs on a random street
>robots have been able to pass the turning test for at least ten years but nobody in power raised any questions about potential machine rights
>it's almost never mentioned how the rest of the world is, Russia is going for land grabs and Canada is apparently a good place for androids (more on that later) but that's it
>the US is in a war with Russia, over 60% of the US armed forces are androids, when androids start gaining sentience THE US ARMY KILLS ALL OF ITS ACTIVE PERSONAL ANDROIDS
>WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING WAR
>THIS MEANS AMERICA REPLACED THE MAJORITY OF ITS ARMY WITH A TECHNOLOGY THEY BARELY EVEN UNDERSTOOD
>US Government will always respond to android sentience with death camps no matter how peaceful they are or how much public support they have
>even when the public is actively supportive of androids there are still no outcries when the government starts killing them by the tens of millions

>absolutely no consistency with the mortality of androids, sometimes they can be repaired after being shot three times with a fucking sniper rifle and thrown off a 30-story building and sometimes they irreparable after being beaten by a human

>the President seems to be facing no repercussions of her actions
>some kind of god to the androids called rA9 is mentioned, rA9 is never explained and barely matters even though the game brings huge attention to it at several points
>even the creator of the androids, Kamski, doesn't know what the fuck rA9 is
>only one company in the whole world seems to be producing androids for the past 10 years
>if you join the android revolution as Connor you find out that CyberLife (the android company) planned this out from the very beginning, it's never explained why other than some hints at Kamski wanting this to happen, but he left the company years before all this started so what the fuck
>it doubly makes no sense because CyberLife actively tries to stop deviant Connor at several points and almost succeeds instead of trying to help him
Minor things
>sports teams start accepting android players instead of creating new android-only teams
>no consistency in the way androids die or how long it takes them to die, sometimes they suddenly freeze like statues and sometimes they go limp like humans do, in one path Markus can get shot in the head and presses a button around 20 seconds later when headshots are established to be instant kills every single other time before that
>characters in-game show little-to-no empathy or care towards deviants (sentient androids) even when they're very obviously afraid or emulating human emotions
>it's mentioned deviants have a tendency of killing themselves when they're stressed but this never shows up more than once or twice
>Canada has no laws regarding androids for some fucking reason, the country apparently has none despite them existing in America and Russia for at least a decade
>regardless of Canada having no android laws and the status of androids is unclear, deviants all want to go there
>androids can seemingly be repaired, but every time Connor is destroyed they just issue a new one instead of fixing
