They won't know how development works, at all, yet expect things to be done way sooner than conceivable based on a set of insufficient questions they asked the dev team during a meeting. One of Bungie’s original plans was to make the Halo a mostly open-world exploration game. Probably couldn’t have been done on any hardware at the time (in 3D, at least), but there’s definitely a market for a Banks Orbital/Ringworld game that is multiplayer, open world, and single-instance server. Orbital would probably be large enough to keep things really interesting.

Sure it's kind of disappointing that they overestimated how fast they would have they public online tests ready. but it's not like they annonced they're only bringing one halo game to PC they're trying to bring 6 all relatively soon. considering they've promised all of this content, and it's not one of those bullshit tactics of "Oh if this release sells well we may consider bring the rest so even if it's not the one you one you better buy it to make sure the one you want comes" I say they deserve a little slack. Anon they can't even properly make vidya anymore. MCC was broken on their console for fucking years. What should have been safe and easy money turned into a massive clusterfuck, and was basically abandoned for years without a fix until somewhat recently where they finally gave a shit again because they wanted to port it for a quick buck when Halo Online got popular. The other races, not so much- since they're either become trading partners or fucked off back to their homeworlds. None of the other races are capable of waging war on humanity. The only two that really kept the Covenant together were the Elites and Prophets. Brutes could act as a stand-in for the Elites so long as the Prophets led them, but without that leadership they're completely impotent.

There's no need to kill them off, at least - not now, when there are more pressing matters to deal with. That's the problem with Nazi's - they're too ambitious for their own good and over-extend themselves, leaving themselves vulnerable.
