It was average even in its day. It was released in between FF6, Phantasy Star 4, Chrono Trigger, SMRPG, Wild Arms, Suikoden, and FF7. Play any one of those instead.

Beyond the Beyond is only for the die-hard 90s JRPG enthusiasts who will play even mediocre ones.

i played it back in the day when the only other RPGs i had played were super mario RPG, earthbound, and lufia 2.

it was a good game but was there a way to control your teammates? i remember not liking how i felt like i had very little control since my team was huge and i got a "turn" once in a while. unless im thinking of a different game
