I think the game is shit and it's amazing they couldn't get lock on camera working right 10 years after ocarina of time showed everyone the basics of doing it right. Some games you played when you were 12 weren't good.

Interesting theory and likely Prototype was inspired by the Thing but the two media are owned by different rights holders. Prototype also was likely inspired by the Homunculi in FMA as many of the powers are renditions of their own.

We went through almost a decade of constant zombie games. And we did not get a single one where you play as the military/paramilitary/FEMA and retake control of the city starting from the moment of outbreak.

Escorting heavy armor while disguised as military while patrolling yellow zone was more fun than anything else in that game.

Surivival Crisis Z was a game where you were inevitably attacked by a government sanctioned clean up crew if you overstayed your welcome. For all it's faults, Resident Evil Operation Racoon City had that concept, but it was poorly executed as the survivors were bullet sponges that would survive from grenade hits.

People claim that there's too many zombies, but I think there's too many zombie games that were inspired by the Walking Dead. You just craft shit and shoot strangers like cavemen, I hate it as it's the most lazy barebones shit out there.
