Quake 3 will be played, not OpenArena since it's a bitch to install and it almost killed my entire server.

Tweak your settings, play some offline so you can be ready, but most importantly

Overal better level design for fan maps. Lighter size for maps too. Arguably better gunplay and balance. Much better aesthetic than Q3A. NiN.

You get to wield a fucking Thunder Hammer as your analogue for a chainsaw, barring that a fucking blood axe while using 180mmRHA rockets to powerboost jump ontop of eldritch abominations and other fags.

Like dood it's Quake. It's great.

Quake 1's deathmatch and CTF modes are quite developed you know. Romero used to play the shit out of it on Telnet and dwango. Just because Q3A was primairly designed for multiplayer only it doesn't make it better. The only problem would be choosing which sourceport to use.

And if you were to talk about fanmaps, Q1 Aero >>>>>> shit > Q3A "Aero".

For some reason I can connect to other servers from server browser with my Q3 copy but can't connect to yours (assuming IP is the same as UT2k4 one), but can with the one in the magnet. Also it seems like we're getting closer to average aussie MP experience.
